Surrounding Area

Located just outside Kootenay National Park at the edge of the Columbia River Wetlands. Central to Banff, Yoho and Kootenay National Parks, Top-of-the-World, Height-of-the-Rockies and Bugaboo provincial Parks/wilderness conservation areas.

Accommodations

Misty River Lodge is located at the edge of the village, just outside the Park gates. We have two small dormitories, private rooms and larger family rooms (some with their own kitchen). A larger communal kitchen and lounge area is available for all guests to use. A beautiful deck with BBQ and wonderful view of the Columbia Valley and Purcell Mountains.

Rooms/Suites

Dormitories are equipped with bunk beds. Capacity of 5 or 6 people in each. Each dorm has it's own washroom (shower, basin, toilet). Private/couples room have queen/double bed(s) and private washrooms. One private room and one family room have their own kitchens.

Amenities

Free high speed WiFi internet (secure and reliable). Huge deck with BBQ. Local restaurants and cafes.
The Radium Hot Springs mineral pools are just up the road.

Private rooms from $60 to $85 per unit.

Directions

Coming from Banff/Lake Louise we are on highway 93 just outside the gates of Kootenay National Park on the left. Coming from Golden or Cranbrook/Kimberley, turn up the hill towards the hot springs when you get to the four-way stop in the centre of the village (there is only one) - we are the last place on the right before you enter Kootenay N.P.
