Description of Active Adventure

Pacific Northwest Expeditions operates multi-day base camp, lodge-based and Mothership cruising sea kayaking adventure vacation packages.

Base camp Adventures – multi-day wilderness camping trips with a focus on sea kayak touring and wildlife viewing.

Lodge-based – These trips are based from an exclusive wilderness lodge nestled in Blackfish Sound, in the southern Broughton Archipelago.

Mothership - Our British Columbia Inside Passage coastal wilderness cruises offer you sightseeing opportunities, amazing chances to view wildlife, the mobility afforded by sea kayaks to explore waterways in a quiet and intimate way, and saltwater fishing opportunities to name a few.

No previous sea kayaking experience is required, and our variety of trip options will appeal to singles, couples and families of all ages. We operate tours with intimate group sizes enabling us to minimize our environmental impact, ensure meaningful cultural and natural interactions, and to provide the highest standards of service available.

Typical Day

Sea kayak touring offers the paddler an intimate experience with the marine environment and is ideally suited to exploring the coastal waters of British Columbia.
A wide variety of activities are available to you and your travel companions, from sea kayaking, fishing, whale watching, bear viewing, sight seeing or photography. We will help you choose the activities and locations that would offer the experiences you desire.

Age range, type of group

All kinds of people, with varying degrees of physical abilities have been lured into the seat of a sea kayak!
Our groups are composed of active couples, singles, and families who share in common a spirit of adventure and a willingness to experience our natural world at an intimate level.
