Heli Canada Adventures

Just imagine...seconds after you pull the seat belt snug around your
hips, the rotor speed intensifies and the helicopter lifts off, leaving behind the
ground and the all-too-hurried pace of daily life. As you effortlessly gain
speed and elevation, a whole new perspective appears. Like a fine artist’s
masterpiece, swaths of forest blend into lush wildflower meadows, while dark alpine
tarns border startlingly white glaciers.

It’s here, among the lakes and peaks, that the day’s adventures will
unfold under the watchful eye of your highly qualified guide. Whether you’ve
chosen the quiet peace of hiking, fishing or backpacking, the adrenaline-boost
of rock climbing or mountaineering or even the relaxation of picnicking, the
mountains are now yours. Except, of course, that after a day spent on the slopes,
searching for the perfect photograph or and watching the wildlife as it
watches you, it may well be you who belongs to the mountains.

We understand how you feel. Here at Heli Canada Adventures, we
specialize in the world-class combination of helicopter transport, inn accommodation
and outdoor experience that make all of this possible. We’ve never lost the
thrill of the helicopter soaring over a ridge, or the wonder of a mountain goat
gracefully climbing high above where we’re hiking. That’s why we focus
on your dreams of what a vacation can be...helping families share a discovery of
nature, for example, arranging a once-in-a-lifetime sojourn for a small office
group, or enabling honeymooners and others who require total exclusivity to enjoy
the solitude our mountains provide. And we take pride in ensuring that our
exciting trips suit every age group, fitness and expertise level, from novices to
seasoned veterans.

We make our base in the mountain community of Revelstoke, British
Columbia, Canada, nestled between the spectacular Selkirk and Monashee Mountains
—the birthplace of guiding in North America. Revelstoke’s historic downtown
area echoes those early days in the mountains, with heritage buildings,
awnings, flower baskets and antique streetlights to set the scene. During July
and August, Grizzly Plaza draws visitors and residents alike, to enjoy
nightly entertainment in the band shell. By day, you can follow the organized
historic walking tour...when you’re not flying with us, of course.

Nearby, just a few feet from where our helicopter departs, the Hillcrest
offers you a luxurious retreat. Here, overlooking the beautiful Columbia
Valley, you can opt for a massage, a sauna, or a soothing soak in the hot tub
while discreet service attends to every need. But your day’s not over. Fine
dining begins at seven p.m., with a delectable menu shared with friends old and
new. A nightcap, and it’s time to retire to your cozy room, dreaming of the
day’s experiences, and imagining what’s to come. Tomorrow we start again,
with stretching and a splendid breakfast. Then the rotors signal the
beginning of a brand new adventure...

Typical Day

Stretching before breakfast at 7 30 am, first flight at 0845 am , picnic lunch in the mountains and home in the comfy lodge by 430 pm sharing stories of your incredable day.

Age range, type of group

We welcome families, couples and groups and we can customize any of our programs. We have terrain for the novice to the seasoned veteran - don't take our word for it - come see for your self!!

Sleeping and meals

Our base, the Hillcrest, offers fine dining and comfy accomodations. Massages are available and we look after all your needs - very opulent.
