Accommodations

Turn back the clock to the 'Gilded Age.' Hampton Terrace was built in 1897 to participate in Lenox's annual summer social season, which included other local 'cottage' owners, such as the Morgans, Astors, Carnegies, Vanderbilts and Westinghouses. An Inn since 1937, Hampton Terrace is located in Lenox town center and is one mile from Tanglewood. Enjoy beautifully detailed public rooms with sconces, fireplaces, elaborate moldings and a breath-taking three-story suspended stair. Romantic and intimate. Walk to Lenox's heralded shops and restaurants. Breakfast included.

Rooms/Suites

Hampton Terrace has eleven guest rooms - all with private baths. Six are in the Main House, and are updated, air-conditioned and feature antiques and vintage fabics. Two have fireplaces and most have antique claw-foot tubs or whirlpools. There are six more guest rooms in the Carriage House - renovated in 2000. All feature queen beds, fireplaces, and Jacuzzis.

Amenities

Hampton Terrace is less than a two-block walk to dozens of fine restaurants, shops, galleries, spas and activities. Many have described Lenox as "Soho" in the country.

Policies & Restrictions

We welcome well-behaved children over 10. No pets and no smoking in the Inn please. Three-night weekend minimum from July 1 through Labor Day. Two night minimum on other weekends. We accept single Saturday nights the final week. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Rates & Availability
