Only an hour from San Diego, Julian is a historic mountain community with numerous outdoor attractions including hiking, shopping, and historic tours. At 4250 feet above sea level, the area is cool in the summer and has some snow in the winter, enjoying four unique seasons. Spring wildflowers, summer and fall fruit orchards, and winter snow activities are major attractions. The community is central to San Diego County providing easy access to the Anza Desert State Park, the San Diego Wild Animal Park, and the Cuyamaca State Park.

Accommodations

The Artists' Loft and Cabins at strawberry Hill provide the environmentally aware visitor with a peaceful, private lodging in the secluded Pine Hills area of Julian. The main cabin has two private suites each accommodating two persons with private baths and entrances. The other two cabins are for couples or singles and offer privacy and quiet. All three cabins have either wood burning stoves or fireplaces, and have fully stocked kitchens.

Policies & Restrictions

The Artists' Loft and Cabins at Strawberry Hill are designed as romantic getaways for two persons, or retreats for singles only. Childeren are not appropriate. We are home to many wild and other animals, so please leave pets at home. We are absolutely smoke free, smokers are not accommodated...We also limit the use of fragrances.
