Acadia Cabins, surrounded by Acadia National Park, is conveniently located on the southwestern side of Somes Sound in the charming fishing and boatbuilding village of Southwest Harbor. Consisting of working piers, craftsmen building boats, shops, restaurants, lobster pounds, marina, and a beautiful coastline, the west side of Acadia National Park offers many trails with spectacular views from vistas and peaks. We are also a short 10-15 minute drive to other area harbors; such as, Bar Harbor, Northeast Harbor, Seal Harbor and Bass Harbor.

Description of Vacation Rental Property

Acadia Cabins are nestled in a lightly wooded setting offering guests who desire a more independent, peaceful and private atmosphere. Quietly sit back and breathe in the unforgettable fragrance of balsam firs intermingled with crisp salt air, listen to gulls crying overhead, and feel the cool breeze of the Atlantic Ocean.

Sleeps & # of Bedrooms

Studio Cabins have one queen or one king bed, a refreshment area equipped with coffeemaker, toaster, mini refrigerator, sink, microwave or stove top, and a sitting area.

Suite Cabins have a galley kitchen area with stove top and microwave, small refrigerator, coffeemaker, toaster, table with 4 chairs, sitting area, and a bedroom with two full beds or one king.

Amenities

All cottages have private bathrooms and are equipped for self-catering with basic cooking/dining utensils, CCTVs, telephones with data ports and private voice mail, free local calls, bed linens, pillows, towels, soaps, fan, and heat. Swimming pool is seasonal and all activity brochures, maps and restaurant menus are available in the office.

Restrictions

No Pets Allowed and Smoking is Limited to Outside of Cabins.

Directions

Follow Rt. 3 to Mt. Desert Island, then right onto Rt.102. Follow Rt. 102 through the village of Southwest. The entrance to Acadia Cabins is located on your right opposite Fiddler's Green.
