Description of Sailboat

3 boats:
"Curlew" a 28' classic mahogany yawl, built on Prince Edward Island. Carries up to 10 passangers.
"Sea Eagle" a 28' trimaran, carries up to 12 passangers.
"Friendship" a 30' classic wooden sloop, 12 passangers

Destinations

3 locations:
Cardigan Nature Sail - full day sail on the Cardigan River and out into the Cardigan Bay. Natural setting. Abundance of marine and bird life. Lunch served on board.
Rustico Adventure Sail half day sail into Gulf of St. Lawrence Strait aboard fast and comfortable trimaran. Blue water sailing.
Charlottetown Harbour Sail half day sail along Charlottetown waterfront and into Norhtumberland Strait.

Typical Day

Cardigan departure 10 am Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Sail down Cardigan River about 7 miles into Cardigan Bay. We often see dolphins and seals along this scenic tranquil estuary. There are many seabirds, including eagles, osprey, hawks, kingfishers and others. Lunch is served on board. A casual sail in Cardigan Bay, returning upriver to Cardigan Marina approximately 3 pm.
Rustico departure 10 am Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. Sail out of beautiful Rustico Harbour and into the open waters of the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Occasionally sighting pilot whales on this blue water sail returning to port approximately 1 pm.
Charlottetown departure 10 am Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. Sailing along waterfront down Hillsborough River and into Northumberland Strait. Exploring out to St. Peter's Island, returning to Harbour approximately 1 pm.

Age range, type of group

Maximum group size per sailing is 12 quests. Six years old and up. Everyone welcome.

Sleeping and meals

Box lunch is provided on the full day Cardigan sail only. Catered thru Cardigan Lobster Suppers, alternatives to lobster available on request. Lunch is included in the charter price.

Restrictions

No alcohol on board. No pets.

Rates & Availability

Cardigan Nature Sail: Full day including lunch on board - $60 per person plus tax
Rustico Adventure Sail: Half day - $40 per person plus tax
Carlottetown Harbour Sail: Half day - $40 per person plus tax
