Surrounding Area

Homer is one of the beautiful areas in Alaska. We are 220 miles south of Anchorage at the "end of the road"! Homer offers spectacular scenery, halibut and salmon fishing, hiking, sea kayaking, beach combing, theatre, art galleries, shopping, museums, horse back riding, boat tours, clam digging and lots more!!

Accommodations

We offer 575 square foot cabins that have 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living room and bath. We can accommodates up to 6 - 8 persons in each unit including many amenities such as kitchenware, TV/VCR or DVD, video tapes/DVDs and lots more to make you feel "almost home"! We are located within the city limits but up on a bluff with a lovely view of the mountains and the bay. There is a large deck and yard, BBQ grill, picnic table on 3 beautifully landscaped acres! We are happy to set up salmon or halibut fishing charters for you and to assist you in making your plans!

Rooms/Suites

The cabin has 2 bedrooms - one bedroom offers a queen bed, the other has 2 twins and there is 1 or 2 futons in each living room. All units are clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated and affordable!

Amenities

Spectacular view, BBQ grill, picnic table, and it is not uncommon for a moose or two to stroll through the yard!

Policies & Restrictions

Pets and smoking are allowed outside. Children welcome, kids under 5 years old are free. One unit has one step up and the other is on the 2nd story so has a staircase.

Rates & Availability

The cabins units cost $170. per night for the first 2 persons and $25. for each additional person. We also offer a 5% if you stay 3 days or more, 5% if you pay by cash or check and another 5% discount if you will also be taking a halibut or salmon fishing charter with us! Early reservations are recommended.
Winter rates are from 10/1-4/30 and the cabin units cost $89. per night for 2 persons and $10. for each additioanl person.

Directions

Stay on the highway until you reach McDonalds. Turn left at that street which is Lake Street. Take that to the stop sign then turn right on East Rd. You'll travel about a mile and then you need to turn left on East Hill Rd. The road will wind around for about 2 miles up East Hill and you will turn right on Cottonwood Lane which is the last street before Skyline Dr. Stay to the left once you are on Cottonwood and we are the 3rd driveway on the left. You will see a cabin with triangle windows near the road with the main house behind it. Please park in front of the white garage door and walk up the stone staicase to our front door. We prefer check in between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. but please advise us if special arrangements are needed. Check out is 11 a.m.
