article written by J.G. Nash printed in The Buffalo News on March 30, 1997 about Cajun Country and a note about his vist with us. "Was an attractive new home, set on a winding street, in a development that could as well have been in Houston as Houma. If momentarily disappointed by the lack of expected Cajun scenery, I was soon overvhelmed by the Cajun hospitality of my hosts, Sally and Leland Crochet."
A surbaban home approximately 25 years old, built in the middle of old cane fiedls. The original plantation home is still standing near by and is a Museum. In the back yard is a cane syrup kettle. Just a few plants of Sugar cane growing. Sit back on one of the old swings or hammocks and just relax watching the birds and squirrel at play.
