Each TLC home is privately owned so amenities vary but all must meet the TLC standard for quality and cleanliness. Some have whirlpool tub, hot tub, fireplace, screened-in porch, sandy beach, satellite TV, DVD player, equipped kitchen, washer & dryer, stereo, but ALL are directly ON Watts Bar Lake, TN and include private docks (some are covered) and marinas and restaurants nearby. Some have wireless Internet access.

Whether you sail, fish, or cruise, you are encouraged to bring your own boat and dock it in front of any TLC cottage you choose, or rent a boat from one of several marinas nearby. Watts Bar Lake is known as the "King of the Southern Great Lakes" and it is too large to ever really get crowded. From fishing to boating to swimming to any water sport including watching the waves go by, TLC is a lake lover's paradise. Also, you can see bald eagles, ospreys, great blue herons,-bird watcher's paradise!
