Typical Day
Day 01
Meet on arrival at Lisbon International Airport and transfer to the hotel for overnight stay. At 19.30 pick-up for the welcome dinner at S. Filipe Fortress, and return to the hotel around 23.30. (D)
Day 02
After breakfast, the first contact with the bikes and with the terrain, a short briefing to give you some details about what you could expect from this day. Departing by 11.00, we’ll cross the Arrábida Mountain by it valleys, passing by vineyards, and local farms, a quick stop at Comenda farm for a sweet cake from the region. A mixture of asphalt and dirt road on the way to Setúbal, on a a short ride give us chance to fit with the bikes and some adjustments. Arriving in Setúbal, around 16.00, accommodation, time to relax. At 19.30 pick up at the hotel lobby, a 10min walk to the Typical Meat Restaurant “Nacus”, return to the hotel at 22.00. (BD)
Day 03
After breakfast and check out of the Hotel, crossing the city to the ferryboat, for the river cross. Cycling over the Tróia peninsula in direction to Melides, an area of pine trees and rice paddies will be our guests to Melides, a southern village that we’ll have time to explore on arrival. Accommodation and overnight stay. (B)
Day 04
After breakfast, we’ll have our hilly day, not a mountain, but it will be up and down by valleys on the way to Santiago do Caçém. The Roman Ruins and the windmill will be point of interest to visit on your arrival to this southern city. Accommodation, and free time to relax. (B)
Day 05
Early in the morning after you breakfast at the Pousada, we’ll cycle trough the city, a stop at the market, so you can buy your own goods for the picnic. Soft up and down hills to Sonega, a small village, where we stop for a break. Chance to get in touch with the locals. Then an off road cycle to Vila Nova de Milfontes, but on the way we’ll stop for a picnic under the cork trees. Arriving at Vila Nova de Milfontes and accommodation. (B)

Day 07
Departing by early morning, around 09.00, after cross the bridge over Mira River, we’ll cycle on the cliffs by the Atlantic Ocean. On the way to Zambujeira do Mar, by the Southern Natural Park, the lost villages in time and the locals will make this part off the tour an unforgettable cycle day. Picnic at Zambujeira do Mar beach, and moving in the direction of Rogil, a stop at Odeceixe, the village that set-ups the border between Alentejo and Algarve, Mr Candeias will show us how a traditional windmill work, and how he made it only by himself. Accommodation in Rogil and dinner at Aljezur, on a typical fish restaurant. (BD)
Day 08
After a special breakfast, we’ll depart for our last day biking, we’ll try to arrive at Hotel Golfinho by middle afternoon so you could have the chance to lay down on the beach once its only 150m from your hotel. (B)
Day 09
A special journey and different too. Special because it’s the end of the biking tour, different because you’ll be travelling to Lisbon by train, in the Intercidades train, its fast, safe and it will be a pleasure for sure. It’s a different of see the country “by the window”, arriving at Barreiro you’ll cross the Tagus River by boat, already in Lisbon, the quay its in downtown, also where your hotel is. Your bags and your driver will be expecting you and our guide, from a very pleasant journey. (B)
Day 10
Free time to explore Lisbon, once you’re in downtown, near the subway/underground and tram stations, its easy to get moving around the city and visit the most interesting parts of this amazing city. (B)
Day 11
Transfer to Lisbon International Airport and departure. (B)
