Description of Active Adventure

This area offers a huge variety of fishing experiences for every type and skill level of angler. From excellent panfish angling to deep water fishing charters, we offer fishing that is sure to keep you tingling with anticipation!For those who would rather leave the poles behind, an overnight canoe/kayak trip down the beautiful Saugeen River may be in order. Several area golf courses will add to the fun back on dry land as well.

Typical Day

We offer a unique Golf & Fishing Package during May, June, September and October which includes free use of our fishing boats & motors, and all greens fees and cart rentals at some of the areas finest golf courses. A great day may start with a morning out on a Lake Huron Salmon charter, a "shore lunch", an afternoon of golf, some fantastic Steelhead fishing in the evening, followed by a great time around the campfire, before retiring to your own cottage or the Vacation House and sleeping soundly on our comfortable beds.

Age range, type of group

We cater to all age groups. Typically we expect more families during the summer, and more golfers and fishermen during the off-season, although there is such a wide assortment of activities in the area that this is not always the rule. Check the specials out on our website for Seniors discounts and other heavily discounted periods we post in order to try to fill any gaps in bookings!

Sleeping and meals

All of our accommodations provide well equipped kitchen facilities, and an IGA grocery store is only a couple of blocks away. Each cottage has their own gas barbecue also. But, nonetheless many opt to treat themselves to some fine dining at one of the many excellent dining establishments which are located nearby.

We think you'll agree that we have succeeded in maintaining incredibly low rates!Eg. :For a group of four who wish to take advantage of our four day- five night package, staying in cottage #3(two bdrms.), each person will pay $345 CDN., including all taxes.Green fees(18 holes/day) and cart are paid for all four days, and the use of use of boat for Mon., Tues. and Wed. (one tank of fuel and safety equipment)is also included. Check-in Sun. 6:00pm.

Other Information

Cable TV and VCR/DVD provided in all cottages. Internet available to all cottages via wireless access.
