Description of Active Adventure

The Wolf Den caters to the personel side of soft adventure. In winter you can try your hand at "mushing" your own team of friendly Siberian Huskies. You can do as little or as much as you wish. Help load, harness, drive or sit back and relax as our experienced mushers takes you through some of BC's most beautiful Country.

Typical Day

Full day tours depart the Wolf Den at Nakitsilik at 9:30 arriving back at 4:30.
Depending on your choice of accommodations - we will meet you or have you join us at our trail head. We will give you a quick sled handling lesson and then we will hook up your team. Be as involved and hands on as you wish - but watch out - the dogs are noisy until we get going!

Age range, type of group

We cater to people of all ages and abilities. If you have any special requests or large groups please let us know and we will do our best to meet your needs. We do have age limits in place for children and age and weight limitations on driving your own sleds. These are for the protection of the dogs and you.

Sleeping and meals

We have partnered with some of the areas finest accommodations providers to offer you many choices for your tour and budget. From cozy B&B's to high end resorts - we are able to provide you with many options to personalize your tour. Or choose to stay for one of our week long adventures in our remote & comfy log home. At our home - all meals are home cooked and home grown.

Restrictions

We cater to all age and gender groups. Smoking is permitted outside and no personal pets please.

Rates & Availability

All inclusive per day rates - $350 per person. Includes all meals, a full day of sledding and sled handling instruction.
Dog Sledding only - "Spirit of the Iditarod Tour" Full Day $290 per person (single person on sled $250 per person if one driver and one passenger)
