Description of Surrounding Area

Vieques is renowned for its miles and miles of clean, white, nearly undiscovered beaches and a mean temperature of 84 degrees throughout the year. There are over 120 kinds of birds on Vieques, wild horses and cows everywhere, and not one shopping center or traffic light.

Description of Vacation Rental Property

Our towels don't match. The rooms have no phone or television. La Finca is for people who like to go barefoot and take showers outdoors; folks who don't need or want all the comforts of home when they're vacationing.
Our finca has a main guesthouse and two casitas, which together can sleep 20 or more. We rent the entire finca, or individual houses, to friends and travellers who want to get off the beaten path.

Sleeps & # of Bedrooms

The Main House- Offers large groups and families six private rooms, each with one or two queen-sized beds, and a twin loft. You'll find a large kitchen, dining and living area, all open onto the tradewinds
Guest House Rooms- Individual rooms, sleeping 1-5, with shared bath and common guest kitchen and decks.
The Cabana- A secluded two-story wooden cottage up on a hill, the Cabana features one double bedroom with private deck and shower upstairs. Kitchen private bath and living area with two twin daybeds, and more decks downstairs. Sleeps 3-4
The Casita- Nestled in the garden, this cozy one room cabin has a queen bed, twin sleeping loft, its own kitchen and private deck with a shared bath. Sleeps 2-3
The Whole Finca- Take the place over! Totally private, the finca is perfect for family reunions, workshops, company retreats or tribal gatherings. Sleeps 20 or more, depending on how well you know each other. [Wooden tent platforms are available as well for in-laws or the kids.]

Services Offered

In addition to the new swimming pool, La Finca offers volleyball, horseshoes, croquet, limitless walks in the hills, and bike rentals from La Dulce Vida Mt. Bike & Adventure Co. We can also help you arrange diving and sailing charters, on-site massage, sea kayaking, tours of Vieques' outstanding bio-luminescent bay, or day trips to the rain forests of Puerto Rico.

Summer $2200 weekly
Winter $2900 weekly

Guest House Rooms-
Summer: Single $45-$50, each additional guest $10
Winter: Single $55-60, each additional guest $15 

The Family Cabana-
Winter $900 weekly, $125 per additional night 
Summer $675 weekly, $95 per additional night 

The Casita-
Winter $675 weekly, $95 per additional night
Summer $450 weekly, $65 per additional night

The Whole Finca-
Winter $4250 weekly
Summer $2700 weekly

[Summer Rates are in effect mid-May to Mid-November.] 

PLEASE NOTE: To guarantee your stay, one half of your total charge is due, by personal check or credit card, within seven days of your reservation. Deposit refunds, less a $15.00 service charge, can only be given with 14 days advance notice. With less notice, deposits are refunded only if we can rebook the rooms. Rates do not include nine percent Puerto Rico room tax.

A 4% service charge will be added for all credit card transactions.

For Entire Finca/Guest House Group Reservations, deposits can not be refunded with less than three months notice.

In Vieques, English is spoken everywhere, and the currency is the U.S. dollar.

Directions

Even though it feels as though we are worlds away, getting to La Finca is easy. You can hop a 20-minute flight from either San Juan or the U.S. Virgin Islands for roughly $45 or take the twice-daily ferry from Fajardo, Puerto Rico for $2.
