Sleeps & # of Bedrooms

Our Romancer cottage is for 2 and has a jacuzzi and sauna, netted king sized bed and open floor plan so that you can see the fireplace from all rooms.
We also have one and two bedroom cottages as well as a vacation home which has two bathrooms. One bedroom cottages are for 2, two bedroom cottages and Vacation Home are for 4. Two young people can be accommodated at no extra charge in each. We provide all homemaking needs as well as firewood.

Mountain Brook is a getaway place - getaway from tv's, phones and faxes - and get back to a place where you can leave the busy-ness of your life behind. No phones or tv's to disturb you. But an opportunity to breathe fresh mountain air on your front porch swing, cuddle up by the fireside with a good book and sleep to sounds of brooks tumbling down the mountainside.

Services Offered

While we have no planned activities, we do have brochures and maps to help you decide what to see and do in our area and how to get there. There is a menu book in our office featuring menus from local restaurants. Our aim is to be here for you...but not disturb you. That we're in our 21 year and have many returning guests is an attribute to our success.

We love pets and can give you the names of local kennels, but we can not accept pets.

Rates & Availability

Our rates for two people in a one bedroom cottage are $90 per night, for 4 in a two bedroom cottage it's $100 and the Vacation Home is $130. Two children may be accommodated at no extra charge.
Our Romancer is for 2 and is $140 per night.

Other Information

A credit card may be used to hold your accommodation but a deposit in the form of a money order or certified bank check for half of your lodging amount will be due within 7 days of making the reservation. Confirmation and a map and directions to our door will be sent by return mail.
Cancellations occurring outside of 30 days of arrival will receive a refund of the deposit less 10%. Cancellations within 30 days will result in forfeiture.

Directions

Mountain Brook is located midway between Franklin NC to the south and Sylva/Dillsboro NC to the north, 2/10 mile off of US 441. Our adopt-a-highway signs will be spotted a mile north and south of us and we have a large illuminated sign on the road. Just drive back 2/10 mile to our office.
