Lake Louise is a designated World Heritage Site and all-season resort area. During the winter the hostel offers ski packages at Alberta's largest downhill ski resort; in the summer sample the hostel's outdoor programs and hike to destinations like Moraine Lake, which is among the most beautiful sites in Canada. While at the hostel try Peyto's Cafe (licensed), a local favourite in Lake Louise. Also be sure to check out the hostel's reference library, the spacious common area and the sauna. Transportation to the Lake Louise hostel from other Alberta hostels is available between June and September. The Canadian Alpine Centre & International Hostel is jointly operated by Hostelling International and the Alpine Club of Canada.
