Chincoteague Island has a barrier island named Assateague which is a National Seashore & has the Chincoteague Wildlife Refuge & home of the world famous Chincoteague ponies. Surrounded by water & beautiful marshlands make swimming, walking, biking, birding, kayaking, boating, fishing & relaxing a peaceful way of life as well as a wonderful vacation/getaway spot for families & couples. Visit the Oyster Museum, Waterfowl Museum & Nasa Space Exhibits.

Accommodations

Inside furnished- Federal Style Antiques - largest & most historic B&B on Chincoteague. Large sitting room for guests to relax by the fireplace in the fall & winter while listening to music or reading a good book.
Outside has a large front yard & house is set back from the street. Off street parking in the large grassy backyard. Brick courtyard with fountain/flowers & roses provide a lovely setting for morning breakfast.

8 rooms- 6 with private bath- 2 shared bath. 1 King-2 Queen-3-Full Bed all with Private Bath. 2-Full bed-shared bath. All rooms are air conditioned. Rooms are each decorated differently with period style antiques.

Services Offered

Full hearty Southern breakfast served in the dining room, covered porch or outside in the brick courtyard (weather permitting). Breakfast consists of a fresh fruit on the side-delicious hot egg entre-Homemade walnut & cinnamon breakfast cake-Homemade bisquits-Homemade breads & of course, coffee, tea & orange juice.

Policies & Restrictions

No pets. No smoking and Children over 10 graciously accepted.

Rates & Availability

All rates include a full breakfast. Fall rates - $95-$150 per night plus tax depending on the room. Two people per room. Additional $25 per person per night plus tax for over 2 in room. 2 night minimum on weekends. - 3 night minimum on holiday weekends. 5 night minimum -Pony Swim Week (Sunday-Thursday). Other Information

10 Day cancellation policy except July through Labor Day when all reservations are final. Peak season - May 1 -October 15. NO refunds due to weather. $25 additional charge for ALL cancellations and credit adjustments. VISA/MC/Discover/American Express credit cards accepted.
