We offer personal attention to every guest
and the necessary orientation on the 'drive & dive' map,
so you can find your way around
or the activity you are looking for
and will feel at home at once.

Our office is usually open from 9 - 5.
We have an activity corner.
We can give tips and make reservations.
There is a small library of books, movies & games,
an Internet café to check your email or reconfirm your flight home.
We sell the drive & dive map, aloë vera sun tan oil, postcards.
We rent boats, snorkel- or dive sets, a cellulair phone or laptop.
We can arrange for a transfer by taxi from and to the airport,
so you arrive here relaxed and on time.

All our apartments are like holiday homes
with everything you might need to be on your own.
In total we offer 10 apartments:
4 with 2-bedrooms, 6 with 1-bedroom,
a small studio with limited view
& a student room for an intern.
From economical to affordable,
one to fit every budget.

Our friendly cleaning lady
will clean your apartment 3 times a week
+ change linen and towels.
We have a laundry room
with washing machine, iron + board.
If you still miss something,
you can still ask here for it.

As a package with the apartment we offer a sporty car:
Suzuki Ignes or AVP mini bus,
a fun jeep, Jimney or Terrios, standard of automatic,
with it’s own private parking place,
so you are free to go anywhere you like

2. Limestone is central
It is situated in one of the nicest residential areas of Curaçao,
on a Peninsula with waterfront and panoramic views all around
of the Spanish Water & Caracas bay with sailing boats,
the old plantation houses or new mansions.

Limestone is a little getaway, so quiet;
you’ll hear all kinds of birds twitter
or the kids of the orphanage play their music in the distance.
The sea breeze whispers in the palm- trees
and makes Limestone actually cooler
than the rest of Curaçao.

You can dream away in a hand- woven hammock.
You feel you are in a world of your own,
so private, most people don’t even know it exists,
a piece of paradise surrounded by nature.

A white limestone beach massaging your bare feet,
clear lukewarm swimming water in front of your door,
where the fish come eat of your hand. Just feed them,
don’t eat them.

It is an ideal location to relax & rejuvenate,
read a book or see the movie you missed at the cinema.
Kids simply enjoy themselves
with all the little things they find to do.
Yet if you like to go out,
you are only a few minutes away of all action,
like the beautifully renewed road
of the Brudernan of Brakapoti,
Caracasbay island & the Jan Thiel area

Limestone is easy to find.
From the Caracasbaai road,
take the direction to Jan Sofat.
Turn right at the sign of Brakkeput Ariba.
And right again at the T- crossing.

and the road round to Limestone:

3. Activities & Attractions
In Curaçao or at Limestone you don't need to be bored.
There is something to do for everybody.
You can (learn how to) snorkel or scuba dive,
sail windsurf, even kite surfing,
fish, deep sea or trolley, make a boat trip,
mountain bike or hike, play golf or tennis,
go to a gym or spa,
take an old city tour or tour the island,
BBQ or dine out,
there are restaurants for every ones taste
and places to go out to at night,
join happy hour & dance salsa

Water sports
The Spanish Waters is an ideal place for water sports.
5-meter long sailboats or sunfishes are for rent,
with or without skipper, also a small motorboat.
Windsurfing is easy to learn (1 hour) and a lot of fun.
There is even kite sailing in Sint Joris bay
and surfing at Playa (beach) Hala Kanoa.
Try to learn water-skiing or wake boarding
or make sail or fish trip along the coast,
or a day trip to Klein Curacao,
a small paradise island,
or a snorkel & dive mini cruise
along the south coast.
Nobody should miss the chance to visit the Blue Room
with captain Good Life in Santa Cruz.
Kayaking
The Spanish Water is a beautiful bay to discover by kayak.
There are many inlets with nice villas,
Mangrove groves, where the pelicans rest,
or sea grass snorkel spots where you can see life conch
(please adopt one as they go extinct).
You can paddle up to Barbara (Hyatt) Beach in 30 minutes
and relax on their 5 star beach.
We have one or two person kayaks,
all together for 10 persons.
Kayaking is healthy exercise,
which you can learn in a few minutes.

Mountain biking
Is ‘hot’ on Curacao.
There are some cool tours
over wild trails in the surroundings of JanThiel & Caracas bay island.
You can also tour by yourself.
You can rent a mountain bike
and have it delivered to your door.
Hiking
Not only the rugged Christoffel park & Shete Bokas,
practical the whole of Curaçao is perfect for hiking.
Ask for the hiking map of Unique Curaçao.

Safaries.
There are several safaris,
offroad and and exploring nature in an open jeep.
Or even more exciting, you can also do this
with a fun bug or on a quad on the wild side of the island, the North Coast.
This seems to be quite an experience & thrill ride.
Dancing lessons
On Monday there is a free salsa lesson in Brakkeput MeiMei.
And there is still “ Salsa si puedes”…. For the experts!
And one could ask Silvia Merle, ex-balarina from Danza Nacional de Cuba, professional dance teacher, for a private lesson.

To practice one of the best places to go
is the happy hour on Sunday from 6.30 - 9.30 at Hemmingway
or Friday night Cuban night 10.30 pm at Pampas.
Underwater sports
There are many nice beaches
where you can snorkel or scuba dive.
Most beaches have facilities,
such as shady palapas, long chairs,
a bar, showers and a dive shop
or are natural, as are the country roads leading there,
which means you need a good car to get there.

Cars
To see Curaçao you'll need a sporty car, high on its wheels.
We rent out such a car + private parking place
as a package with each apartment:
Suzuki Ignes: very practical, economical, compact,
2-4 persons & perfect for sightseeing or shore diving.

As the cars are getting older,
we’re upgrading our cars to Jeeps,
which is fun and more practical
to see the island even offroad.
So now we also offer a Daihatsu Terios,
a Suzuki Jimney or AVP mini bus.

Underwater sports
Nowhere in the world snorkeling or diving is so easy as in Curacao
There are many nice beaches where you can simply walk
from the shore into the sea to snorkel or dive.
The only things you need is your equipment,
The drive & dive map and a handy car to take all your equipment along.

Diving
Dive shops have popped up all around the island
And can be found on practically every beach.
We can recommend a few beaches with dive shops
Like Jan Thiel, Blue Bay, Kokomo Beach, Porto Mari,
Cas Abou, Lagun & Playa Kalki.
We can also direct you to dive operators near by
for a personalized diving experience & equipment rental.
You can get your Padi open water certificate in 4 to 5 days
Or simply start with a introduction dive.
Kids can try the bubble maker.

Boat diving
Most dive sites can be reached from the shore.
But for those who do want to do boat diving,
we have the Curacao Marine Park.
Here we will walls:
Punt’ I Piku, Kabaye, Directors Bay, Tugboat, Lost Anchor,
Kabes Kibra and Saba.
At these special spots you will practically be diving alone.
There is also the Mushroom Forest & Wata Mula,
that can only be reached by boat.
For tailormade boat diving try Niels’ Dive Charters.
Thursday 9am Caribbean Seasport makes a boatdive
on the Superior Producer, a perfect wreck.
On Santa Cruz you’ll find the Water Taxi,
which can take you to the Mushroom forest.
Westpoint you’ll find a dive boat,
which can take you to Wata Mula.
On a day trip you can go to klein Curacao,
where it is also nice to dive.

Dive buddy
For divers who need a buddy,
sometimes you are lucky to find another diver here in Limestone.
You can also try a buddy finder site
or visit the local dive club: Donderdagavond Duikclub Curacao.
Again we recommend some dive centers to try your luck.
And you can still make an intro or guided dive.

*Golden Rules for eco friendly diving
1. Teach divers about the basic rules of eco friendly diving:
• Good control of neutral buoyancy.
• Use of the right flipper technique & swim position.
• Attach all lose devices.
• Avoid contact with bottom and / or sea life.
• Don’t remove anything from the water except fresh trash.
• Do not use gloves or knee protectors.
2. Practice these rules on each dive.
3. Remind all divers before about each of these basic rules.
4. Supply information about nature & environmental issues.
5. Don’t tolerate that corals & other sea life are being touched.
6. Don’t offer corals or other sea life for sale.
7. On board use sealable trash cans to avoid any spill.
8. Don’t dump trash, waste water or oil in sea.
9. Use designated buoces to more or place anker by hand to avoid damage to coral.
10. Be a member of a dive operation or conservation association and support actively programs that contribute to projects to preserve the fragile underwater life.
