Welcome to Limestone Holiday Curacao
Limestone Holiday is a small & cozy waterfront resort. The apartments and cottages are located in a tropical flower and palm garden, in front of a private beach with long chairs and hammocks and a lovely swimming area like a swimming-pool in sea.

You have a view over the beautiful Spanish Water bay on the Table mountain. We offer comfortable one and two bedroom apartments equipped with kitchen, TV + cable, air-conditioning, hot water shower, porch, linen, direct telephone, towels and cleaning service, laundry & BBQ corner, an office with internet (wireless), email, activity corner and a guest library.
If you might miss something, you may still ask for it.

The Spanish Water is a perfect place for water sports such as: sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, snorkeling or diving. We have a small scuba dive center where we can offer diving a la carte to every one's wish and arrange for snorkel trips and boat-dives.

You are near to downtown Historic Willemstad with it's cultural heritage, the Curaçao Marine Park with breathtaking snorkel & dive spots, beaches such as Barbara Beach, Caracas-bay Island, Jan Thiel, the Sea Aquarium with many attractions, super-markets, nice restaurants: the Boathouse, Sarifundi's Marina, landhuis Brakkeput Mei Mei, de Kleine Wereld, Larry's, etc. , nightlife: Mambo beach, Salinja, hotels and casinos.

We offer a car + parking-place with each apartment. All year round it is sunny, there is a refreshing sea breeze, no hurricanes and there are many nice places and beaches to be discovered. We'll give you personal attention in the language you speak, English, Spanish, Dutch , German & also our local language Papiamentu and all the information you will need to find your way around the island, so you can really enjoy your holiday.

Welkom bij Limestone Holiday Curacao
Limestone Holiday is een klein en gezellig vakantie resort of park. De vakantiehuisjes liggen in een tropische bloemen en palmen tuin. Ervoor is een privé strand met ligstoelen, hangmatten en een zwemgelegenheid net als een zwembad in zee.

Je kijkt over het mooie Spaanse Water uit op de witte Tafelberg. We bieden comfortabele een en twee slaapkamer appartementen aan, voorzien van alle gemak, zoals keuken, tv met kabel, eigen telefoon, airco, warmwater douche, porch, linnengoed, handdoeken en schoonmaak, was- & BBQhoek, een kantoor met internet (draadloos), email, activiteiten info en gasten bibliotheek.

Mocht je nog iets missen kun je er altijd om vragen. Dit is de plek bij uitstek voor watersporten zoals: zeilen, windsurfen, kajakken, snorkelen of duiken. We hebben een kleine duikschool / shop waar we op verzoek duiken a la carte kunnen aanbieden. We kunnen ook naar ieders wens bootduiken of andere activiteiten regelen.

Je bent hier dicht bij historisch Willemstad met zijn culturele erfenis, het Curaçao Onderwaterpark met adembenemende snorkel- en duikstekken, stranden als Barbara Beach, Caracasbaai Eiland, Jan Thiel, het Sea Aquarium met vele attracties, supermarkten, goede restaurants: Het Boathouse, Sarifundi's Marina, landhuis Brakkeput Mei Mei, de Kleine Wereld, Lary's, etc., of nachtleven in Mambo beach, Salinja, hotels en casino's.

We bieden bij elk appartement een auto + privé parkeerplaats aan. Het is het hele jaar zonnig, er waait een verkoelende zeebries, geen orkanen en er zijn veel leuke plekken en stranden te ontdekken. Wij geven persoonlijke aandacht en alle informatie om je weg rond het eiland te vinden, zodat je volop van je vakantie kunt genieten.

Typical Day

Limestone is central
It is situated in one of the nicest residential areas of Curacao, waterfront, overlooking the Spanish Water and Jan Sofat. It is a little hideaway, so quiet, you'll hear all kinds of birds twitter. The sea breeze whispers in the palm-trees and makes Limestone actually cooler than the rest of Curaçao. While you dream away in a hand-woven hammock, you feel you are in a world of your own, so private, a piece of paradise with a white limestone beach, clear lukewarm swimming water, where the fish come eat out of your hand and children can swim and play safely. Yet you are near all kinds of action. You can walk to the Boathouse restaurant or Sarifundi and drive anywhere: Historic Willemstad, Barbara Beach, Caracas bay Island, Jan Thiel, the Sea Aquarium, super-markets, nice restaurants, landhuis Brakkeput Mei Mei, Larry's, nightlife such Mambo beach Salinja or downtown, are only a few minutes away.

Limestone is centraal
Het ligt in een van de mooiste buurten van Curacao, direkt aan het water met uitzicht over de baai en op Jan Sofat. Het is er zo stil, dat je allerlei volgels hoort zingen. De zeewind ritselt door de pambladeren en maakt het koeler dan de rest van Curaçao. Terwijl je wegdroomt in een handgeweven hangmat, voel je je in een wereld apart, zo privé, een stukje van het paradijs met een wit limestone strand, helder verkwikkend zwemwater, waar de vissen zo uit je hand komen eten en kinderen veilig kunnen zwemmen en spelen. Toch is alle activiteit vlakbij. Je kunt naar het restaurant de Boathouse of Sarifundi lopen en overal naar toe rijden: Historisch Willemstad, Barbara Beach, Caracas bay Island, Jan Thiel, het Sea Aquarium, super-markten, fijne restaurants, landhuis Brakkeput Mei Mei, Larry's, nachtleven bij Mambo beach, Salinja of in stad, is maar een paar minuten weg.

Cottages
All of our apartments are like beach houses. They have a porch and wide opening double doors. This way the living area space opens up and you can feel the cool sea breeze all around you. The rooms are decorated with a personal touch: beautiful Cuban paintings, comfortable bamboo and beach furniture, a double standard bed and singles, a well equipped kitchen with oven and micro wave, air conditioning, hot water shower, TV + cable, dvd rental, clock radio + cd player, telephone and wireless internet. There is a beautiful view over the water, an agreeable temperature even at night. You can enjoy those pleasant tropical evenings outside. Cleaning is twice a week. A wash machine, iron and board are available.

Vakantiehuisjes
Onze appartementen zijn als strandhuizen. Ze hebben een porch met wijd openende dubbele deuren. Op deze manier wordt de woonruimte vergroot en kun je de zeebries overal om je heen voelen. De kamers zijn ingericht met een persoonlijk tintje: prachtige Cubaanse schilderijen, comfortabel bamboe en strand meubilair, een dubbel standaard bed en 2 enkel, een goed uitgeruste keuken met fornuis en (micro) oven, airco , warmwater douche, TV + kabel, dvd verhuur, klokradio + cd player, telefoon + draadloos internet. Op de porch is een gezellig zitje met een prachtig uitzicht over het water. Ook 's avonds is de temperatuur aangenaam en kun je genieten van die gezellige avonden in de tropen. Er wordt 2 keer per week schoongemaakt. Een wasmachine, strijkijzer en plank zijn beschikbaar.

Activities

In Curaçao or at Limestone you don’t need to be bored. You can (learn how to) snorkel, dive, sail, mountain bike, hike, dance salsa or BBQ. There are many restaurants nearby and places to go out to at night. We even have a baby sitter at your disposition.

Water sports

The Spanish Waters is an ideal place for water sports. The Pro-Sail Curaçao offers 7 meter sailboats or sunfishes for rent with or without skipper. Windsurfing Curaçao is the place for windsurfing & Cat Curaçao for catamaran sailing. The Bounty & Insulinde make sail trips along the coast. Let's Fish & Speedy do deep-sea fishing. The Mermaid makes day trips to Klein Curacao, a small paradise island. Limestone rents out kayaks.

Kayaking

The Spanish Water is a beautiful bay to discover by kayak. There are many inlets, Mangrove groves, sea grass snorkel spots. Of course you can paddle up to Barbara Beach and relax. You can go on your own.

Underwater sports

There are many nice beaches where you can snorkel or dive. Most beaches have facilities, such as shady cabanas, long chairs, a bar and showers or are natural, as are the country roads leading there.

Mountain-biking,

is 'hot on Curaçao. Wanna Bike offers some cool tours.

Hiking.

Not only the rugged Christoffel park, practical the whole of Curaçao is perfect for hiking. See Unique Curaçao hiking map.

Dancing lessons.

On monday there is a free salsa lesson in Brakkeput MeiMei. And there is still 'Salsa si puedes"...

Car rental

To see Curaçao you'll need a sporty car, high on its wheels. We offer such a car + private parking place with each apartment: Suzuki Ignes, a station wagon or a Kia Sportage Jeep, all perfect for sightseeing or shore diving. Our rates are very economical & competitive. So we kindly request you not to rent elsewhere, more over as we don't have any more parking space.

Activiteiten

Op Curaçao of bij Limestone hoef je je niet te vervelen. Je kunt hier (leren) snorkelen, duiken, zeilen, mountainbiken, trekken, salsa dansen of bbqen. In de omgeving zijn veel restaurants en plaatsen waar je 's avonds uit kunt gaan. We hebben zelfs een babyzitter beschikbaar

Watersporten

Het Spaans Water is een ideale plaats voor watersporten. De Pro-sail Curaçao biedt 7 meter lange zeilboten of Sunfishjes te huur aan, met of zonder kapitein. De Bounty & Insulinde maken zeiltripjes langs de kust. Let's Fish & Speedy verzorgen diepzee vissen. De Mermaid maakt dagtripjes naar Klein Curacao. Limestone verhuurt kajaks.

Kajakken

Het Spaanse Water is een prachtige baai om per kajak te verkennen. Er zijn vele inhammen, Mangrove bossen en zeegrasvelden om over te snorkelen. Ook kun je naar Barbara Beach peddelen om daar te relaxen. Je kunt op jezelf gaan of met een gids.

Onderwater sporten

Er zijn vele mooie baaien waar je kunt snorkelen of duiken. De meeste baaien hebben faciliteiten. zoals parasollen, ligstoelen, een bar en douches of zijn nog geheel natuurlijk, net als de landweggetjes ernaar toe.

Mountain-biking,

is in op Curaçao. Wanna Bike verschillende tours opklimmend in moeilijkheid aan.

Trekken.

Niet alleen in het ruige Christoffel park, praktisch over heel Curaçao vind je perfekte plekken om rond te trekken. Vraag naar de hiking map van Uniek Curaçao.

Danslessen

Op maandag is er een gratis salsa les bij Brakkeput MeiMei. En dan is er ook nog ''Salsa si puedes"...


Autoverhuur

Om Curaçao te zien heb je een pittige auto nodig, die hoog op de wielen staat. We bieden we bij elk appartement zo'n auto + privé parkeerplaats aan: Suzuki Ignes, een station wagen of een Kia Sportage Jeep, allen perfect voor sightseeing of kustduiken. Onze prijzen zijn zeer voordelig & concurrerend. Vandaar verzoeken wij ook vriendelijk niet elders te huren, temeer wij ook niet over extra parkeerruimte beschikken.

Underwater sports
Nowhere in the world diving is so easy as in Curaçao. There are many nice beaches where you can simply walk from the shore into the sea to snorkel or dive. The only things you need is your equipment, the drive & dive map and a handy car to take all your equipment along. The Suzuki Ignes, a station wagon or the Kia Sportage are excellent to take all your dive equipment + all the scuba tanks you'll need along.

Diving
Limestone has all sizes of snorkel and dive sets to suit every one. We also have enough scuba tanks for shore diving. We can see to it you get your PADI Open Water certificate in the time you like. We are a very small eco friendly dive center and can adapt the lessons to your need or recommend you to another good dive school such as Atlantis Diving or Ocean Encounters.

Boat diving
The Curaçao Marine Park is only a few minutes away. Here we will find some of the best dive sites with ledges and walls: Punt’ i Piku, Kabayé, Directors Bay, Tugboat, Lost Anchor, Kabes Kibrá and Saba. At these special spots you will practically be diving alone and will be able to appreciate the beauty of it all. For boat diving we recommend Ocean Encounters + the Water Taxi, in particular for the dive sites Wata Mula & Mushroom forest.

Onderwater sporten
Nergens ter wereld is duiken zo makkelijk als op Curaçao. Er zijn vele mooie baaien waar je zo van de kant het water in kunt lopen om te snorkelen of te duiken. Het enige wat je nodig hebt, is je equipment, een goede landkaart, zoals de drive & dive map en een handige auto om al je spullen mee te nemen. De Suzuki Ignes, een station wagen en de Kia Sportage zijn bij uitstek geschikt om al je duikuitrusting en ook nog de nodige duikflessen mee te nemen.


Duiken
Limestone heeft alle maten snorkel- of duiksets, zodat van klein tot groot kan snorkelen of duiken. We hebben het nodige aantal duikflessen voor de kustduikliefhebbers. We kunnnen er ook voor zorgen dat je een PADI duikdiploma haalt. We zijn een zeer kleine en milieuvriendelijke duikschool en kunnen op verzoek lessen op maat geven of je bij een goede duikschool aanmelden zoals Atlantis Diving of Ocean Encounters.

Bootduiken
Het Curaçao Onderwater Park ligt hier praktisch voor de deur. Hier vind je een paar van de beste duikplaatsen met randen en wanden: Punt’i Piku, Kabayé, Directors Bay, Tugboat, Lost Anchor, Kabes Kibrá en Saba. Op deze mooie plekken kun je praktisch alleen duiken en zo des te meer de schoonheid ervan waarderen. Voor het maken van bootduiken raden wij Ocean Encounters en de Water taxi aan. In het bijzonder voor de duikplaatsen Wata Mula en Mushroom Forest.

Best is to reserve transfer by taxi from the airport, so you don't need to go through the hassle of getting a rental car and won't get lost trying to find your way to Limestone Holiday.

Het is het beste om een transfer per taxi vanaf de luchthaven te reserveren,
om niet onnodig na een lange reis een uur of langer op een huurauto te moeten wachten en daarna nog eens verdwaald terwijl u de weg naar Limestone zoekt.
