White Wolf offers deep wilderness trips. In winter, we provide dogsledding day trips and overnights up to 10 days. We also offer, fly-in whitewater and flatwater canoe trips. Our canoe trips are from 3 to 25 days, on lakes and rivers in northern Ontario and Quebec and as far north as Hudson Bay. Also, hiking trips up to 8 days in Killarney and Pukaskwa parks. All trips are professionally guided and fully outfitted, with meals included.

Typical Day

Missinaibi River-19 Days
Travel the historic fur trade route of the Missinaibi River north from the Peterbil Marsh. At mid-point you are treated to the power of Thunderhouse Falls and its legendary Conjuring Rock. The end point is Moosonee, Ontario on the James Bay coast. Your scenic return journey to Temagami via Cochrane is by train aboard the famous Polar Bear Express.

Wake up to a warm fire and breakfast inside a tent. We break camp and are on our way to our next site. We stop for a break at lunch and then move on. In the afternoon we stop at our new campsite and make preparations for a night. (Set up tent, collect firewood, feed the dogs and settle down with a dinner.) Our trips are a very hands-on experience.

Missinaibi River-19 Days $2189

Windigo-Severn-Fawn Rivers-(Fly-out)25 Days $3899
Paddle in one of the most remote areas of Canada. Starting at Windigo Lake we have 800 kms (500 miles) to go. The river is small at the start but there is a long way to go. We stop at the native community of Muskrat Dam Reserve, where the Windigo River meets the Severn River. We stay on the Severn till we get to the next native community of Big Trout Lake. From here we travel the pristine Fawn River back to the Severn River. We finish at the Hudson Bay coast in the Cree community of Fort Severn. Here we spend some time in the community and explore the tree line along the coast of Hudson Bay. Finally, we fly back to Pickle Lake to finish the trip.

Lady Evelyn River-10 Days $1099
A beautiful river with numerous waterfalls along the way. Helen Falls drops over eighty feet. There's a natural waterslide at Centre Falls. This river is loaded with speckled trout as well. We will also spend some time on the lakes of Temagami and stop at the native community of Bear Island to visit. A great trip full of scenery and history.

Dumoine River-(Fly-in)8 Days $1029
This is a great whitewater river. This trip is a great opportunity to brush up on your skills or learn some whitewater technique. The Dumoine is a great teaching and learning river that offers a good variety of rapids. Along the way we see a beautiful series of waterfalls at Grande Chutes.
In winter, the cost per person is approx. $160Cdn per person per day.

We will explore most of the region on a true northern adventure. For those who enjoy a challenge, this is an ideal experience. The trip will begin with your first night at the lodge. In the morning, we are off to spend 8 nights in the wilderness to explore the beautiful scenery and history of Temagami. Our last night is back at the lodge.

Lady Evelyn Dogsled Tour
7 Nights
Cost:$1289 Cdn/person
This is a true experience in winter wilderness camping. While on your trip we will be seeing spectacular scenery as we ride the dogteams through the Temagami wilderness. You will spend your first and last nights at the lodge.


Obabika Lake Dogsled Expedition
5 Nights
Cost:$969 Cdn/person
See the Old-Growth forest in the winter. We explore the Obabika area by dogteam. Your first and last nights are at a lodge. You will have 3 nights camping in the wilderness and 4 days of dogsledding.


Temagami Trails
3 Nights
Cost:$489 Cdn/person
Spend your first night at the lodge. While at the lodge enjoy dining followed by an orientation session. After your session relax in front of a fire. The following morning we harness the dogs, put them in the teams and we’re on our way. We will spend 2 nights camping. A nice way to spend a short holiday.

To make a reservation we require a 20% deposit.
