Missinaibi River-19 Days Travel the historic fur trade route of the Missinaibi River north from the Peterbil Marsh. At mid-point you are treated to the power of Thunderhouse Falls and its legendary Conjuring Rock. The end point is Moosonee, Ontario on the James Bay coast. Your scenic return journey to Temagami via Cochrane is by train aboard the famous Polar Bear Express.
Wake up to a warm fire and breakfast inside a tent. We break camp and are on our way to our next site. We stop for a break at lunch and then move on. In the afternoon we stop at our new campsite and make preparations for a night. (Set up tent, collect firewood, feed the dogs and settle down with a dinner.) Our trips are a very hands-on experience.
