Surrounding Area

Set in the heart of Mallorca's wine region, Binissalem is a time warp back to the fifties. There are still people here who don’t lock their doors at night. In a walk around the town you also may see a half dozen cars parked with their lock buttons up, so trusting are the local inhabitants.

There is a gentle domestic history to the town, with some literary connections, thousand- year-old Moorish influences, and fame, since the 18th century, for its stonework, its carpentry, its architecture (Binissalem has more small palaces than any other town here save Palma) and most of all its wine, which is the only "denominación" wine made on Mallorca.

Accommodations

Scott's is set in a meticulously restored 18th-century seignorial townhouse. It boasts a range of rooms and suites, as well as two sun terraces and an indoor, spa-style pool.

Rooms/Suites

Each of Scott's rooms and suites has been thoughtfully designed by Judy Brabner Scott, who was also responsible for designing Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth's suites at the Royal Opera House in London. All the rooms have handmade, oversized beds and dreamy goosedown pillows -- some of the beds are four-posters, some are over 7 feet long.

Amenities

Comfort and hospitality are the bywords at Scott's, and guests are encouraged to make themselves at home by helping themselves to drinks from strategically placed honesty bars.

The hotel has a separate restaurant, serving acclaimed modern Mediterranean food and with a wine list devised by an award-winning sommelier.

Policies & Restrictions

Because of the hotel's historical status, it is not recommended for disabled visitors or children under 12. There is also a non-smoking policy in all but two of the rooms.

Scott's is open all year around, and rates range from 131 euros for a single room to 330 euros for our Grand Suite.
