Description of Surrounding Area

A Quaint & Quiet Country Escape
nestled on 16 wooded acres in North central Michigan.Enjoy the natural hardwood forest, wildlife,to enjoy from bird watching to wild turkey and deer. A large amount of state forest for that cross country hiking or skiing. Amish farms and antique shops.

Description of Accommodations

Four private guest rooms with baths.

Many well maintained walking / cross-country trails
meander through the woods,
Large perennial and herb gardens throughout the property.

The 6 person outdoor Jacuzzi overlooks the
back woods and gardens, ( try star gazing at night!).

Our common area features a unique three sided gas log fireplace
located between the dining area and common room.
There is a large TV and DSS satelight system
with a large library of movies.
Enjoy the lazy boy chairs and watch a movie or
snuggle up on the loveseat and enjoy the fireplace.

Our dining area can accommadate from 6 to 12 people.
With table seatings from 2-6 persons per table.

A full country breakfast is served by the fireplace each morning.
Included is a home cooked entre', fresh fruit, muffins or coffeecake, juice,and coffee, tea, or cocoa.

Private candlelight dinners are available by reservation only.

There is a second floor semi-private sitting area for the
Serendipity Suite and our Garden room.
This offers a great view of the front gardens and woods.
Private candlelight dinners are available by reservation only
in this sitting room for that extra special private occassion.

Honeymoon, anniversary and birthday packages are also available.

Directions

From the south, take US-27 to the Harrison exit. Turn right (North) on Bus. 27 and proceed to the first traffic light in Harrison (West M-61 ) and turn left. Travel approximately 2.8 miles west on M-61. We are on the left (South) side of M-61. Our business sign is visible from the road.
