Typical Day

Every Island Expeditions trip allows you a unique active and open itinerary that suits many who enjoy a relaxing yet dynamic Belize vacation. All tours begin and end in well chosen lodges and hotels. Each day’s activities include kayaking, snorkelling, fishing, swimming, exploring the island or relaxing in a hammock amongst the palm trees with a good book - the choice is yours. Scuba diving is also an option on most trips. All trips are lead by both Belizean licensed guides who have a wealth of experience encompassing local knowledge, bushcraft, languages, cultures and customes of Belize along with North American guides. After each day’s escapades, guests are rewarded with a bounty of fresh seafood, island baking, and a rich variety of tropical fruit.

Age range, type of group

The best part of all IEC trips is that ‘no previous experience is necessary to participate’. All Island Expeditions Belize vacations begin with a pickup upon arrival at the International Airport in Belize City. Prices include all meals, accommodation, transportation within the country, guides, group equipment and all activities. We welcome all ages and families.

Sleeping and meals

Each trip starts and finishes in a lodge or hotel. All expeditions are either lodge based, basecamps, which resembles luxury camping or camping while on one of our river trips. Meals are prepared fresh by our chefs and guides and are included in trip costs.
