Yap has some of the best diving in the world. With the giant Manta's being the main attraction, Yap has become one of the top 3 diving destinations in the world.

Yap has also the oldest culture still alive today within the Micronesia region. With master navigators that sail traditional canoe's in open ocean using only the environment to guide and protect them through out their voyages. Yap also have traditional chants and dances, some of the most colorful form of art.

Yap has a barrier reef surounding it, making it a place for snorkelers, kayakers, and water activities as well. Yap has to offer some of the best in Micronesia.

Description of Accommodations

With tourism being developed on the island, the Pathways has taken a new and abit different step towards toursim. The Pathways is family owned and operated with their goals to preserve the culture and island values. The Pathways is located on a hillside overlooking a bay below, it has on premesis a gift shop, restaurant/bar, private dock, and optional tours. The Pathways is small and private and we like to think of it as your home away from home. Our guests are treated like family and we enjoy showing our guests our island and culture.

Description of Rooms/Suites

The cottages have A/C, ceiling fans, refrigerator, hair dryer, private bath and verandah, making it very comfortable and enjoyable.

All the cottages are facing eastward to catch the easterly trade winds during spring time and also to have the view of the bay below and the sunrise in the early mornings.

Amenities

Our restaurant known to our local customers more as JM's restaurant is very popular with our special ramen. We are very flexible and we make every effort to make sure that all your dietary needs are met.

We offer our computer for use during the day time to catch up with news back home or to use email.

Services Offered

We offer room service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner or something in between. We also offer transfers to our dive shops at no charge to you. Free local calls and use of our safety boxes.

Restrictions

Pets are welcome, but smoking in the cottages are not permitted.

Double occupancy: $125.00 plus 10% tax
Single occupancy: $115.00 plus 10% tax

Other Information

We also offer fishing for half and full day. We are extremly confident that you will enjoy your trip and catch a fish that if you did not catch a fish we will pay for your trip. If you catch more than you can eat, we will buy it from you. Nice deal huh.... all to make sure you have a good time in Yap.
