We specialize in one-day soft adventure, sightseeing, nature escapes to old growth forests & beaches of Tofino, Ucluelet, Bamfield & Pachena Bay, whale watching at Telegraph Cove, Tofino & Ucluelet. We have First Nations cultural tours, artisan tours and Cowichan Valley wine tours. Our day-trip tours are easy for all ages. We operate year round.

The custom designed 4-wheel drive one-ton van coupled with the skillful back roads driver gives people of various degrees of physical abilities the rare opportunity to experience an ancient rainforest any time of the year.

The easy one day getaways to nature and adventure includes wildlife viewing & travels to wilderness places, old growth forests, mountain tops, salmon spawning rivers, first nations villages, ecoforests and vineyard country.

Our mission is to provide a unique nature experience and to enhance environmental awareness and cultural appreciation. All trips include morning and afternoon snacks, refreshments all day, and a hearty lunch. Most trips are easy walking.

Rainforest Tours is owned and operated by Gary & Ronda Murdock.
Gary has 35 years experience working in the wilderness and navigating backwoods roads, 15 of those years as Recreation Officer for the Ministry of Forests on Southern Vancouver Island. Ronda's interests include aboriginal history & culture and early European settlement of the area.
