The #1 attraction on the Big Island is the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Smart travelers arrive toward evening in order to see the magnificent GLOW inside Halemaumau at night. The Aloha JUnction B&B is conveniently located in the Volcano Village just 1 mile from the entrance.

Accommodations

The house was originally built in the early 1930's as a summer vacation retreat for plantation managers. All of the rooms are spacious and generally leaves people with a feeling relaxing opulence.

THe property is tucked away on a private road just behind the Post Office. It is quiet and secure with remote control gate and loads of free parking on pavement.

Elevation is a cool 4000 feet, so bring sweaters, socks, and a light jacket for this delightful rainforest climate. There is usually plenty of catchment water for a full shower. We can loan flashlights, ponchos and coolers.

Amenities

The kitchen is available after breakfast if you want to prepare a meal at home, otherwise there are 3 or 4 nice restaurants to choose from. Laundry services are located just a block away.

Policies & Restrictions

We have a 2-week cancellation policy with progressive amounts of associated fees within that time period. No refunds within 24-hours of arrival.

Cute doggies welcome with responsive owners.

Directions

From Hwy 11, take the HAUNANI exit. Come to the Stop Sign and turn LEFT. (This puts you in front of the Volcano Store.)
Turn RIGHT at the end of the Store's parking lot - and before the Post Office - just look for our B&B sign and call us at the gate.
