The Murray House is a true gem tucked away in Newport. We discovered it a few years ago and have returned here ever since. This is the place for us and I would highly recommend the Murray House to anyone planning a trip to Newport. We love that Noreen graciously accepts pets and if you are a pet owner this is kind of place you wish you came across more often. My boyfriend and I, along with our chihuahua Mille stay at Murray House EVERY year, and each time we are treated like family. Noreen is wonderful and the rooms are clean and cozy. If you are traveling with a pet this is the place to stay. It's quiet and peaceful and if you stay in the Summer the pool is a wonderful treat! A mini service area is there for your convenience, coffee pot, microwave, refrig., etc. The poolside room has it's own private deck with bistro table & chairs along side the pool and Koi pond. A great place to enjoy a cool drink before going out for the evening.
