Activity/Tour

Our tours are group tours in passenger vans,tour buses and SUV's
We offer a tour guide with at least 10 years experience in the area.All our guides are certified in first aid and CPR.
We tour through one of the last unspoiled wilderness areas in North America where some of our tours provide the opportunity to explore,hike,fish,canoe,and camp in wilderness areas.
We travel through a great deal of magnificent mountains and northern country including "Gros Morne National Park (A UNESCO World heritage Site)We also explore and see many signifigant historical and natural sites and attractions including a 1000 year old Viking site and a 16th century Basque whaling station.Some of our tours include a 2 day trip on the "Sir Robert Bond" a large car and passenger ferry where whales and icebergs are often seen.Staterooms are provided on the ferry. We also visit the northern communities of Labrador City,Wabush,Churchill Falls and Happy Valley-Goose Bay.At Churchill Falls we can arrange a guided tour of one of the largest hydro electric generating stations in the world. In Labrador City we can tour a major iron ore mine.We will be hiking in to Hamilton falls which is two times as high as Niagara.
For those who have never experienced the Canadian north it is an amazing trip well worth seeing.
The sights are limitless and the vistas everchanging.
We also offer boat tours to the Arctic circle.
We also do tours in Quebe, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia
We are able to customize any of our tours to suit individual requirements.

Typical Day

Start off with a hearty breakfasrt(we provid all meals in wilderness areas)
We may either hike or drive through the country and visit spectacular scenery or landmarks.Wildlife is often seen so bring your camera.Canoeing and fishing is also an option.WE usually have a lunch on the trail and return to our campsite for happy hour and dinner. Evening usually finds us at a campfire where we socialize swap stories and plan our folowing days adventure.This is an extremely large area and there is a great deal to see and do.
We also provide tours using hotels and motels for those who do not like camping.

Age range, type of group

We can provide for almost any type of group,keeping in mind that some of our trips are in wilderness areas.

Sleeping and meals

We provide either tenting or hotels and sometimes we stay at B@B's We do provide meals in wilderness areas usually at a main lodge.
Inns are also an option and yes,we do have campfires and outdoor cooking on some of our tours.
We may even let you try your hand at wilderness cooking if you feel the urge.(Remember you have to eat it too!!)

Policies & Restrictions

As we are in a wilderness area we do not allow pets.
We cannot allow smoking in our vehicles as our laws prohibit it,however,we do make frequent stops for those who do.
These tours are not advisable for small children and we do limit the age to 12 or over.
Those between the ages of 12 and 18 must be accompanied by an responsible adult.
Custom tours can be arranged for groups with smaller children.
Most of our tours are not not too strenuous and are suited to anyone in reasonably good health.

Rates

Our regular 6 day tour to Labrador is $1495US
Our regular 9 day tour to Labrador is $2295US
Our regular 12 day great circle tour is $2975US
Our Gros Morne tour is $1995US

All other tours are arranged by quote.

All our rates are based on double occupancy.
