Hale Kai Kalani (House of the Heavenly Sea) is situated on 1.5 acres surrounded by woods, waterfalls, orchards, and the beach. Conveniently located in the center of Kauai's magnificent and world-renowned North Shore, you may choose a different world class beach for every day of your stay, or simply stay at home and relax, soaking in the hot spa. The North Shore of Kauai is a waterman's paradise: swimming, boogie boarding, surfing, snorkeling, boating, windsurfing, kayaking. It is all here. For landlubbers, there is sightseeing, shopping, hiking the famous NaPali trail, horseback riding, golf, tennis, even helicopter flightseeing. Don't miss out on a trip to the nearby Kilauea Lighthouse, home of the world's largest Frenzel lens, and Crater Hill National Wildlife Refuge, where the birdlife is more than abundant- it is literally underfoot! In season you may see giant Humpback whales cavorting and leaping out of the ocean, falling with gigantic splashes! Old Kilauea Town, just 5 minutes away, has historical stone buildings, cute shops, tasty restaurants, a number of churches, a gourmet deli, a convenience store, a park and playground, even an old-fashioned one screen movie theater! Hale Kai Kalani is a charming, comfortably furnished 2 bedroom, 2 full bath bluff-front beach house. The kitchen is large and fully equipped, a dining area with table and chairs to seat 6, and the entertainment center in the living room has everything you would expect, right down to a very nice selection of VCR movie tapes. Outside is a large, deep lanai, where you will find the sunken spa, an outdoor dining table, comfortable chairs, a gas bar-b-que, and a porch swing. There is a carport to park your car under, and a sweet hot and cold outdoor shower for rinsing off after returning from the beach. Washer and dryer, naturally.

Hale Kai Kalani sleeps 2 guests on the king bed in the master bedroom, another 2 on the queen bed in the second bedroom, and possibly 2 more on pull-outs in the living room. Both full baths have both showers and tubs.
