Active Adventure
Adirondac Rafting Company runs the 17 mild wild and scenic Hudson River Gorge. We provide skilled river guides, all gear and a riverside lunch. All types of rafters are welcome, young and old !
Typical Day
We meet at our rustic river base around 9 AM, We get geared up and are located right where the trip begins. The run has depending on season anywhere from Class III to Class V action. We stop for lunch in the beautiful Gorge and usually finish around 2 to 3 PM.
Age range, type of group
During the summer we have dam released water that provides us with guarenteed Class III + all summer. We raft with children ages 8 + during this time frame. During the spring we prefer the slightly older kids from 16 to well whatever age you feel like !
Sleeping and meals
WE provide a riverside lunch. There are many camping and lodging optiuons you can access through our web site.
Restrictions
WE don't smoke on the rafts, hate to have one pop !!
Discounts Offered
WE have a discount for any groups of 6 or more. Also, we offer school rates and packages.
