Description of Rooms/Suites

MD Resort's Bed and Breakfast includes 13 theme bedrooms, 11 with private baths, 8 of which inlude jetted tubs. We also have 3 suites that have two person jacuzzi's. Our themes range from Victorian lace to the Western Vista! We also have a bunk house with its own kitchen and can sleep 15 comfortably.

MD Resort offers modern convenience with an Old West atmosphere close to the big city, yet we are quietly secluded from the bustling workaday world. Whether you are looking for romance or an escape you'll enjoy your visit. With open fields and stately trees, this ranch provides a perfect setting for a weekend getaway, reunion, wedding, retreat, reception, party, vacation, or special event whether it's for a day or a week. MD Resort offers wedding & event planning to help you plan the event of your dreams! We offer 37 acres to roam around, a 1500 square foot meeting room, a 3500 square foot party barn, a small hotel and Bed & Breakfast with 13 bedrooms, 9 Jacuzzi tubs, and a game room. We have an RV park, hayride, swimming pool, spa, massage, picnic baskets, getaway packages, all inclusive packages, lots of things to do and/or lots of privacy! Traveling with horses? Not only do we offer lodging for you but we also have boarding facilities for horses and pets. We are a family owned business. MD Resort is our dream come true, and we would love to share its beauty, tranquility and FUN with you!

Our lodge includes a game library, satellite TV, video library, indoor gameroom including regulation size pool table and darts. Outside you'll find beautiful trees, a pecan orchard, a hammock for lounging around, a few tree swings & outdoor sports. We are happy to help! Wrapped presents and/or other treats can be arranged as a surprise in the room. What else would you like? We probably offer it just give us a call. Getting away in a group? Rent the entire lodge for $2500 per night. Gift certificates are available.

Restrictions

The Bed and Breakfast and the Party Barn are NON SMOKING FACILITIES. Smoking is allowed outside in designated areas only!

Most of your family pets are also welcome at MD Resort's special boarding facilities. Call or e-mail what kind of pet and whether you will be caring for your friend or prefer full care.

Directions

If you are already in Fort Worth
Take I35 north. Exit 287 toward Decatur. At Rhome, take the exit for Hwy 114 West to Bridgeport. Turn left at the stop sign [there is a Exxon truck stop on the far right corner]. You will now be on 114. Set your odometer and go exactly 2 miles to Old Base Road. [You will actually leave Rhome and enter Aurora. At about 1½ miles, on the right you will see a tall sign for Aurora Baptist Church. Then as you start downhill, on the left you will see yellow and green flags with a sign that says Aurora Vista.] Look for the big red MD Resort sign on the left and turn left onto Old Base Road. Go ½ mile. Just past the new homes you will see another big red sign in our front field and a banner on the fence that says MD Resort Bed and Breakfast. Turn left onto our gravel drive way and follow it about ½ mile [past the Ranch House, through the barnyard, and between the animal pens] to our new Bed and Breakfast lodge at the end of the gravel road. We will be looking for you.
