Active Adventure
Hondoo offers daily and multi-day horseback
trail rides and ride/raft combination trips to the dynamic redrock and slickrock wilderness in Utah's Capitol Reef National Park, Grand Staircase/Escalante Canyons National Monument, San Rafael Swell, and high mountain surrounding areas.
Multi-day scheduled rides feature complete outfitting (everything you'll need except personal accoutrements) with either deluxe base-camping or inn-to-inn lodging. Camping trips include one night motel lodging and four nights base-camping with five days of trail riding. Inn-to-inn trips include six nights inn lodging and five days riding.

Participation is open to novice thru advanced riders. All rides are limited to ten persons with a high guide/guest ratio which allows each group to divide by level of ability. Non-riders, hikers and campers are welcome.
Several rides are designed for either wildlife or prehistoric rockart viewing. Wildlife rides focus on either wild horses, bighorn sheep, buffalo, or elk and birds-of-prey.
In addition to these scheduled trail rides, Hondoo offers customized charter trips. We take pride in our tradition of providing custom trips for individuals, families and groups. We continue to offer personalized charter services for persons seeking solitude or group activity.

Typical Day
Since each scheduled trip explores a different destination, every day is unique and highlights a different scenic attraction or point of interest. Our high guide/guest ratio allows us to offer guests as much, or as little, activity as you desire. Charter trip itineraries are planned with participant(s).
Age range, type of group
Most riders on our schedule trips are adults and join as singles or couples. Groups and families make a smaller portion of our scheduled ride clients, but aren't uncommon. Custom trips are arranged by charter and open to individuals, groups and families.

Sleeping and meals
Inn-to-inn rides feature the area's most elegant inns . All meals, except lunch, are prepared by restaurants. Camping rides feature deluxe base-camping with complete outfitting: tents for cooking, dining, showering, and sleeping (single, double, or family occupancy); 6" foam pad and cot for sleeping; camp chairs; fresh and wholesome meals leaning towards southwestern style are the rule.
