One of the first Austin Victorian homes built in the late 1880's, and formerly the Southard House, it is minutes to 6th Street, the Texas State Capitol, Barton Springs, Town Lake Hike & Bike Trail, The University of Texas at Austin, Zilker Park, Expo Center, Palmer Auditorium, The Convention Center, Texas History Center, and the LBJ Library. Policies & Restrictions

Brava House is a Bed & Breakfast Inn that rents out 4 individual suites, each with their own private entrance and bathroom. All rooms are non-smoking; however smoking is permitted outside.

Each room comes furnished with modern amenities (click here for full list). A Continental Plus Breakfast is served weekdays, and a full Gourmet Breakfast on the weekends. All breakfasts are served buffet style to be taken in the rooms. Daily maid service is provided.

There is plenty of off-street parking in our private parking lot, and the Brava House Bed & Breakfast is located in the very lively neighborhood of Clarksville, in Historic Old West Austin, within walking distance to restaurants, parks and shopping, 6th Street, Town Lake Hike and Bike trail, and the Texas Capitol building.

Brava House B&B welcomes families with children of all ages, and we also have limited accomodation for pets. If you will have pets in your party, please advise us ahead of time. You must get prior approval for your pet, and we reserve the right to limit the type or breed of pets accepted. There is a $15 per night pet charge.

Directions

Directions from I-35:
From I-35 exit MLK/15th Street. Go West on MLK Blvd. for a little over a mile, until it dead ends into Lamar Blvd. Turn left on Lamar to 12th Street. Turn right on 12th and go to the first stop sign, which is Blanco. Turn left on Blanco, and we are the second house on the right.
