Description of Surrounding Area

Located in historic district of old civil war town. Short drive to Shiloh Military Park, Tennessee Tombigbee Waterway, and Pickwick Lake. Take the Elvis tour and drive 45 minutes to Tupelo and one hour to Memphis. Hiking, Biking, Tennis, Golf, Watersports, Historic Tours, Shopping, Community Theatres, Antiquing, Restaurants, Civil War Interpretive Center are all within 10 minutes of the Inn. 114 miles from Huntsville Airport, 84 miles from Memphis. In the heart of the historic district and only 5 miles from the industrial parks.

Description of Accommodations

Our Inn is comprised of two beautifully restored Victorian Homes, circa 1872 and 1909. They are connected by lovely gardens with roses, magnolias, water gardens, and patios. There are parlors, wrap around porches, a second floor veranda, library, and lounges to sit and relax. Our hot tub area is glass enclosed and surrounded by lush greenery.
Take a walk on our beautiful tree lines streets or stroll through the quaint downtown for shopping, a concert on the square, movies, or just plan window shopping.

All rooms and suites are beautifully appointed with antiques and contempory pieces for your comfort. All rooms have private baths - some with antique tubs, individually controlled hvac, telephones, data ports, color cable tv and vcr, ceiling fans, decorative fireplaces, daily maid service, turn down service and many more amenities.

Open 365 days per year. Rates start at $75.00 per night and go to $120.00 per night for suites.

Directions

From Route 72 (Interstate) turn north at light in front of Arby's Fast Food restaurant onto Cass Street. Travel on Cass about 1 1/4 mile to dead end. Turn left onto Linden Street and travel 3 1/2 block to the inn. Off street parking provided - turn into lot at sign.
