Experience the unspoiled, tranquil, natural beauty of the west coast of British Columbia. Listen to the waves as they lap the beach a few meters from the sun deck outside your room. Stroll the waterfront along miles of shoreline. Watch the eagles soar above seals basking on the rocks offshore as the sun rises over the Coast Mountain Range. Cast your line at a passing salmon or harvest the clams and oysters waiting just steps from your door. Launch your kayak for a leisurely paddle on the sheltered waters of Georgia Strait. Golf at nearby Crown Isle or any of the eight courses in the Comox Valley or ski at nearby Mount Washington. Hike on mountain trails in Strathcona Provincial Park. Go sailing or take an eco-tour excursion from the Comox Marina. Come enjoy one of the many festivals and events held annually in the Comox Valley such as the Filberg Arts and Crafts Festival, the Comox Valley's Island Music Fest, the Comox Valley Fall Fair, or the Trumpeter Swan Festival. Description of Accommodations

Our two spacious rooms and self-contained suite all have private entrances with the beach just a few steps away. Each room has a superb view of Georgia Strait and the Coast Mountain Range.

Description of Rooms/Suites

The Sea Lion Suite:
Bright, cozy and private, this fully self-contained suite has two private entrances and a spectacular setting. Ideal for quiet getaways or family vacations, it will comfortably accommodate up to four people. In addition to the cozy bedroom and fully equipped kitchen, there is a bathroom with tub and shower, a dining area and
living room with sofa bed. The picture window on the ocean side affords a commanding view of Georgia Strait and the Coast Mountain Range. High tide brings the ocean to within five meters of your door.

The Heron Room:
This bright, spacious and airy room features a queen bed and a floor to ceiling view of the ocean and mainland mountains. The room shares with the Eagle Room a large wrap-around sundeck overlooking the beach and a spacious bath room with tub/shower combination. Steps lead down to the garden and the beach a few meters away.

The Eagle Room:
This large, comfortable room features two double beds and has a private entrance. The room shares with the Heron Room an expansive, wrap-around sundeck overlooking Georgia Strait and the Coast Mountain Range and a spacious bath room with tub/shower combination.

Directions

We're located close to the Powell River Ferry Terminal, a 10 to 15 minute drive from downtown Courtenay or Comox.
Driving Directions:
From Highway 19 or 19A, proceed to Courtenay and watch for the highway signs directing you to the Powell River Ferry. Follow these signs until you arrive at the last intersection before entering the ferry terminal. Turn left (onto Wilkinson Rd) We are the last house before the turnaround at the end of the road. (1484 Wilkinson).
