The Hostal Cielito Sur Bed & Breakfast is a quiet, private, family-run country estate inn on 2� hectares at an altitude of 1,600 meters above sea level. It is conveniently located between the towns of Cerro Punta and Volcan, offering easy access to both the Volcan Baru National Park and the La Amistad International Park.
A tranquil setting lush with tropical fruit and coffee trees interlaced with the exotic flowers of bird of paradise, lilies, anthuriums, alstroemerias, and impatiens. The estate is a natural bird sanctuary nestled in the rustic landscape of the Chiriqui highlands.

Description of Accommodations

The rooms are named after the Indian tribes of Panama. Each of the 4 spacious bedrooms is individually and tastefully furnished and decorated with local Indian arts and crafts and the beds all have coordinating comforters and dust ruffles. Many unusual and creative designs beckon you to forget any problems or cares you may have and enjoy your stay. All beds have comfortable firm mattresses in queen or king size. Two of the rooms are furnished with a king size bed which can be converted into two twin beds upon request. Each room has natural lighting and lamps for reading. A private heated bathroom with bathtub and hot water are provided in all rooms.

Directions

DRIVING FROM THE DAVID AIRPORT:
Turn left when you depart the airport and proceed 3.4 kms (2.1 miles). When you reach the police station which will be on your right turn left and head North on Calle Miguel Brenes (also known as Calle F Sur). Continue on Calle Miguel Brenes for 1.8 kms (1.1 miles), go past the McDonald's and Super 99 until you come to the main 4 lane Inter-American Highway. Turn left and head West on the Inter-American Highway to the town of Concepcion. From Price Smart and the Mall Chiriqui in the outskirts of David to the turn off in Concepcion is about 21.2 kms (13.2 miles), and the drive will take approximately 15 to 20 minutes.

Arriving into the town of Concepcion there are a series of three gas stations (Texaco, Delta and Shell) which will alert you to the turn off to Volcan and Cerro Punta. Take the road to the right after the Shell gas station. There is a green road sign indicating the way to the town of Volcan. If the highway becomes two lanes, you have passed the turn off. It is 33.4 kms (20.8 miles) from Concepcion to Volcan and it takes about 35 to 40 minutes.

In the town of Volcan you will turn right at the Shell gas station which will be on your left, across from the Police Station and head towards the town of Cerro Punta. From the Police Station it's 10.3 kms (6.4 miles) to the Hostal Cielito Sur Bed & Breakfast. We have signs along the road from Volcan to the B&B indicating the distance to Cielito Sur.
