Age range, type of group
Virtually everyone can enjoy this tour, although wine tasting is of primary importance to enjoy this vacation. It is highly recommended for couples and friends traveling together. Custom dates can be arranged for families.
Sleeping and meals
Two of the area's best bed & breakfast inns will host us during the weekend getaway. The Beechwood Inn, near Tiger Mountain, has received notoriety for being one of the best B&B's for the wine connoisseurs in the country. The Worley House, in historic Dahlonega, remains the second oldest settlement in this beautiful town near the foothills of the wine country. The wine country excursion features three wonderful wine-tasting dinners where regional, national and international wines will be paired selectively with each course.
The tour price is $998 per person. A single supplement for guests choosing to have their own room apply.
The best time of the year to visit the vineyards is near the picking season. The heart of the picking season is in September, when we have several dates from which to choose. This wine country excursion in the North Georgia Mountains can be enjoyed in the Summer months as well, as the weather is delightful due to the higher elevations!Contact Owner For More Information »
