Summer is an amazing time to visit Whistler, BC, and the Extremely Canadian Lodge is the place to call home while you’re here. Whistler boasts an enormous array of summer activities; home to 4 golf courses, endless hiking, biking, and rollerblading trails, lakes for swimming, crags for climbing, and almost anything else you might have in mind.

Winter is our specialty. Whistler/Blackcomb is North America's premier mountain resort. With over 5000 feet of vertical rise 7000 acres of sprawling terrain, Whistler/Blackcomb is a freeskiing Mecca with almost limitless possibilities for adventurous skiers. We provide shuttles to and from the ski hill daily, and our legendary guides are available at an extra charge.

Accommodations

After a good day in the mountains, kick back on our spacious sundeck with a cold drink or relax in the comfortable living area while watching a DVD flick on our big screen TV. The Extremely Canadian Lodge is a ‘bed and breakfast’ chalet with several wonderful guest bedrooms with king or twin bedding available to accommodate any group up to 12 people comfortably.

The Lodge is ideal for many group sizes, from singles or couples looking for a b&b getaway to families or groups who want the whole house to themselves. The spacious living/dining area and sundeck make it an excellent venue for special events, staff retreats and weddings.

Located in Whitegold Estates, the Lodge is in walking distance to the village, and we’re on the valley trail route that allows bikers, walkers and rollerbladers to cruise around the valley. We are also a stones throw away from Lost Lake Park.





Summer accommodation packages include continental breakfasts and daily housekeeping.

Shuttles to and from the ski hill are available all winter. Door to door transfers from the airport to our Lodge are included in winter stays of 5 nights or more.

Our Extremely Canadian Freeskiing Clinics are a wicked opportunity for you to explore the best terrain Whistler/Blackcomb has to offer, while building the skills you'll need to rip down terrain you previously wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole.

Directions

Directions from Vancouver Airport To Extremely Canadian Lodge.

Upon leaving the Airport follow signs for Squamish/ Whistler /Hwy99, which will take you on the main arterial route through the center of downtown Vancouver and over the Lions Gate Bridge.

Once on Hwy 99 it is about 1 1/2 hours up to Whistler depending on road conditions.

Once you get to Whistler stay on 99. To get to the Lodge, go past all seven sets of lights and past the main village. Just a couple of hundred metres past the seventh set of lights you'll see a large wooden sign for Whitegold Estates on the right hand side (towards the ski area). Turn right into Whitegold Estates and drive down past the Boot Pub and across the little bridge on Nancy Greene Drive. Go all the way to the end of the road and you will see the Lodge. It is on the corner of Nancy Greene Drive & Ambassador Crescent. The address is 7406 Ambassador Crescent. There is an Extremely Canadian Lodge wooden sign in the front.
