Low keyed, informal retreat, the perfect place to relax in a scenic country setting. Hike to Race Brook Falls, the Appalachian Trail, and the summit of Mt. Race. Ski Butternut and Catamount, cross country ski, canoe the Housatonic, fly fish the Konkapot River, ride, bike, walk, bird watch , enjoy the outdoors.

Common areas and guest rooms are decorated in a warm, cozy style of textured fabrics, stenciling, eclectic arts, hand hewn beams and wide plank floors. The Horseshoe Wine Bar is a congenial corner for guests to meet and settle in with a great book. Enjoy a hearty and wholesome breakfast buffet featuring freshly roasted Barrington Coffee.

Guest rooms on 3 levels are tucked into the Hayloft, Harness Barn, Hoop Shed and Ice House. They include King, Queen and Full Double rooms, connecting room suites, and adjoining twin bedded kids quarters. All accommodations have private baths and A/C.
