Built in the 1930's, Carriage Quarters served as housing for the servants who tended to the horses and carriage equipment. The upper unit's walls, ceilings, and trim are made from native chestnut trees before the great blight. The lower unit is of modern construction materials with original stone walls.

There is a 2.2 mile walking trail around the lake, as well as tennis courts, youth center, and outdoor swimming pool (in season) within a short walking distance. The Lake Junaluska public golf course is less than a mile away. On the assembly grounds, there is 24-hour security.
