Metchosin is on the southern coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, just 25-30 minutes from downtown Victoria. This area is an outdoor and nature lover's paradise with miles of hiking trails, and beautiful beaches for relaxing and bird watching. Golf courses, salmon fishing and whale watching are available nearby. From garry oak meadows to cool fir firests or lake edge and salt water habitats, Metchosin has it all!
You will be the only guests in our home! Your suite is situated on a separate floor with its own private patio. You can choose to enjoy breakfasts in your own room, on our outdoor balcony. Relax and enjoy watching a variety of wildlife just outside the door!
Your private, spacious suite includes a queen-sized bed, four piece bathroom and its own separate entrance. There is a sitting area to enjoy the views and a small kitchen area to prepare light snacks. Spectacular views overlook Race Rocks Marine Protection Area, with, the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Olympic Mountains in Washington State in the distance.
Restaurants are located as close as 5 minutes away. Major shopping areas are 15 minutes away.

Take Sooke Road to Happy Valley Road (turn left). About 4.8 km (3 miles) down Happy Valley Road. you'll find Glenforest Drive (a left turn). Take Glenforest and keep to the left when it forks (about .7 km or 0.4 miles along). This is now Sundance. About .3 km (0.2 miles) along, go left onto Saddleback, then, right onto Hackamore. We're the last house on the left (845). It sounds complicated, but it's quite easy to find!
