Holmes County, Ohio is home to the world's largest Amish population. What this means for our b&b guest is a chance to shop for Amish furniture, crafts, antiques, take tours on the backroads and learn about Amish culture, visit local cheese houses, Amish bakeries and indulge in that great Amish food! You can even play a round of Golf or go Horseback Riding.

Accommodations

Our B&B started when an old Amish schoolhouse was dismantled and the pieces used in build an addition to the existing home. In the building plans were 5 over-night guest rooms. All guest rooms are on the 1st floor. Just outside the guest rooms are beautiful, perennial gardens and in the center of the gardens is a fire ring. Each night after the shops and restaurants close we build a campfire for our guests (weather permitting). The campfire is a great way to unwind and relax after a fun-filled day.

Rooms/Suites

All guest rooms have a private entrance, private bath with hair dryers, queen or king bed, Satellite TV & VCR, Wi-Fi, A/C and in-room coffeemaker. Each room is decorated in a garden theme. We have the Garden Gate Suite, Rose Garden, Grape Arbor, Briar Patch and Potting Shed. The Garden Gate Suite has a Jacuzzi and fireplace and is very luxurious. The Rose Garden has a fireplace and is more deluxe! We pamper our guest with high thread-count sheets, 5-star bath amenities and home cooked breakfasts. Our Common Room provides a place to rest on a couch, table & chairs, refrigerator, microwave, a video library and coffee/tea/hot chocolate/microwave popcorn. Our breakfast room is open in the evening and we have playing cards, games & puzzles as an alternative to our evening campfire.

Concierge Services are offered to all guests. We can make reservations for a Backroads Tour of Amish Country, Dinner in an Amish Home, massage services, Golfing, Horseback Riding, Sleigh Rides and more. For couples wanting a fine dining experience we will call and make dinner reservations.

AMISH COUNTRY PROGRESSIVE MEALS TOUR & WEEKEND GET-A-WAY Our Ohio Amish Country B&B is offering you a chance to see Amish Country as you've never seen it before! We've planned a very special tour for you! The tour is offered once a month. Check-in Friday, go out to your favorite restaurant or stay at the B&B and just relax. On Saturday, you will start bright and early with breakfast in a New Order Amish home. Afterwards you will tour Behalt Amish & Mennonite Information Center and take a back roads tour to learn about culture and customs. Next course is soup and salad in another Amish home. The afternoon will be filled with stops at Amish owned businesses such as a candle maker, basket maker, buggy maker, etc. The next course is dinner & dessert. You will be served 2 meats, potatoes, noodles, vegetable, dessert & beverage. The bus will return you to Garden Gate Get-A-Way. Relax over breakfast on Sunday morning before checking out. Directions

We are off of State Road 39, just 2 miles West of Berlin OR 5 miles East of Millersburg. Turn on Township Road 353 and go 1/2 mile South. Our bed and breakfast is at the corner of TR 353 and TR 310.
