Stocking Island is accesible only by water. The island is ringed with white sand beaches and is sparcely populated. Hotel Higgins Landing is the only hotel on the island. There are no roads, no cars, but miles of barefoot hiking trails and beach paths. Just offshore are coral reefs, underwater caves, turquoise lagoons..a kayakers paradise.
Beachfront cottages surrounded by water on two sides. Large decks with outstanding views, each cottage secluded. Decorated with antiques, four poster canopy beds, tile floors and showers, some cottages with new (2004) kitchens. Gourmet restaurant and honor beach bar on site.
