Fire Mountain is located just outside the upscale mountain village of Highlands NC in the middle of the Nantahala National Forest in what is known as the land of waterfalls. Fire Mountain is located less than two hours from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, The Blue Ridge Parkway, Asheville NC and the Biltmore Estate, the Cherokee Indian reservation and thousands of acres of national forest land that contain hundreds of miles of hiking trails and rivers for fishing and white water rafting.
