Tina's Casitas

Tina's Casitas is a peaceful place just a five minutes walk from the center of Santa Elena in the zone of Monteverde on a quiet side road.
Meet other travelers at our patio and enjoy the view of the Monteverde Reserve and the Pacific Ocean from the garden.

We have 5 wooden double rooms with shared bath, a house with 2 triple rooms with private bath and a house for 4 people with private bath.
There is hot water, rustic furniture of Tina's design in clean rooms and a kitchenette.
Right beside there is a Restaurant, a grocery store, laundry service and a public telephone.
The place is built with the environment in mind.

Most of the transportations pick you up right in front of Tina's Casitas.
So, what would you miss here if you don't stay in the center of town? Only the noise!

Directions

If you're traveling from San Jose by car, take the Highway 32 to Limon and follow the road North to Limon. You will pass the Braulio Carrillo National Park and the Rainforest Aerial Tram. Continue driving through Guapiles, Siquirres and Matina. Just before arriving downtown Limon you will pass through a cemetery. Continue on that road for about 1 kilometer and then you will see the sign on your right to Cahuita/Pto Viejo. Turn here to the right and continue this road straight ahead south the coastline.Follow the green route to Puerto Viejo. Please follow the signs to Cahuita, Puerto Vargas, Puerto Viejo, and Manzanillo We are 100m north of restaurant Maxis. If you're using public transportation, buses leave daily from the Terminal Gran Caribe Station in San Jose. There is also a minibus shuttle that picks you up directly from the airport and drops you outside your hotel.
