There is a cycling/walking path along the entire river, rent a bike from us and spend a day or two or three discovering the true Niagara, not the tour bus, tourist trap version.

Superb location is only a seven minute walk to falls and entertainment area and yet we are located in a quiet, very safe and secure neighborhood. After your day of exploring the river and visiting the falls we have some awesome live music pubs, night clubs and great restaurants very close to our hostel (not a 30-40 minute walk away along a dark road.)

VERY CONVENIENT ACCESS FROM USA/BUFFALO too. Buffalo airport is a city bus ride away. $2.60 and a short 20 minute walk across the border to Canada and our hostel.

Directions
FROM GREYHOUND STATION AND VIA RAIL STATION
(Canadian Side) Walk along Bridge Street to River Road then walk along the beautiful River Rd for 30 minutes until you reach the Falls Area. Walk up Clifton Hill (reasonably steep hill) Continue from the top of the hill on Centre Street for two blocks then turn left on McGrail Ave.
We are one block down McGrail at 5741 McGrail, a white building with green trim. Entire walk takes about 35-40 minutes depending on your luggage size!
This walk is beautiful, but please NOTE: Many of our guests elect to use a taxi as it only costs between $8-$9.00. Or local city bus for $2.50/person. Once you are at our Hostel you are only a five minute walk back to the Falls, Restaurants, Night Clubs, Casinos, Clifton Hill etc

Take the 420 exit turn right on Stanley Street then left on Ferry street, left on Magdelen Street (Casa D'Oro restaurant) then right on McGrail ave.
