Camping Kasern

We are a campsite, we offer for camping-minded travellers and backpackers a budget accomodation in big tents and caravans. We have no rooms! In each tent are 4 beds aswell as a light and a table. All this adds up to a comfortable stay at only 12 to 17 euros per person a night. Own sleeping bag is recomended.
The camp site is set in a quiet, green natural area of Salzburg. The location is good to visit the beautiful Mozart and Sound of Music city of Salzburg, the surrounding Lakes District, Ice Caves or Salt Mines.
It takes you only 15 minutes from or to the city centre by public bus. They run regularly, pick up and stop directly outside the camp grounds.
We offer FREE hot showers, the booking for sight seeing tours and we sell the Salzburg Card which covers bus fares and entry for popular city sights. We have a small food store on the site and we can prepare you breakfast and dinner.
Only 5 minutes walk from the camp grounds is a Post Office, Bank, ATM and Supermarket.
The campsite is a good place to chill out, relax and enjoy the beautiful Salzburg area. We are not a party place!

To find Camping Kasern from the train station take bus number 1, 3, 5, 6, 51 or 55 towards the city centre. Get off at the third stop (Mirabellplatz), cross road to corner of Paris-London Str. and get on number 21 bus. From the city centre take number 21 bus in Kasern-Berghein direction and the bus will drop you off at front gate of campsite(bus station Jägerwirt).

By car from the highway A1, take the exit Salzburg Nord direction Braunau, first traffic lights turn to the right, follow the signs to Camping Kasern.
