The Crooked House

Our quaint crooked house was built in 1660 & subsided a few centuries later. Rembrandt would have walked past our street as an old man...
No we are not 2 mins from the Red Light district.....but within easy walk of Paradiso, Melkweg, Van Gogh Museum, Rijks Museum, Heineken Hick Museum, Italian deli, bagel place, supermarket & Royal Bakery.
Just 2 mins away are coffeeshops: 'The Little' & 'The Mellow Yellow' . All in a safe residential area. We provide 'The Cool Guide to Amsterdam' and other good guide books.

Directions

Our street is 5 tram stops from Amsterdam Central station. Take tram 16,24 or 25 from the station . Due to work on the new Metro x-tension -Get off at the Weteringschans stop . Cross the road- look out for The Yellow Mellow Coffeeshop :there's an antique clock shop at the start of our street. that Walk more than half way down & you'll see a small crooked house. (lit.) 3 little wooden steps- pull the doorbell .
If you take a taxi: say to the driver that it's between the Vijzalstraat & Reguliersgracht & NOT in the Jordan!
