Kontoyiannis House was first built in the 1880's and was re-modernized in the 1990's. It is a traditional village house, which has been converted into four spacious apartments under the village �AGROTOURISM� scheme sponsored by the Cyprus Tourist Organization and is a member of the Cyprus Agrotourism Company.

Kalavassos is a typical Cypriot village with a close-knit community very friendly, quiet and caring to its visitors. It is in an excellent location being 5 minutes drive from �Governors Beach� (a quiet area with secluded beaches and restaurants), 5 minutes from Zigy fishing village with very nice fish restaurants. 20 minutes from Limassol, 35 minutes from Nicosia, 30 minutes from Larnaca and Larnaca Airport and about an hour from Paphos. So it is very well situated and offers easy access to all travelers wishing to visit other parts of CyprusThe house is very near the village square and all amenities. It has its own secluded courtyard offering peace and privacy to its occupants - each apartment has it own patio. It consist of four large self contained apartments. Three being of one bedroom (2 beds) and the other being two bedrooms (4 beds). Each apartment has the capacity to sleep 2 extra, has a lounge/kitchen with TV and is equipped with both air conditioning and central heating. So is ideal for summer or winter holidays.

You might also enjoy walking in our orange grove which is close at hand and has lots of other fruit available to any guests that may like to pick their own!
This is a very large family house with secluded courtyard for private individuals or large groups. The house can sleep up to 19 people very comfortably

Conditions:

All apartments have possibility to sleep 3 extra persons on sofa bed. There is one double and one single sofa bed in each apartment. The two bedroom apartments also has an extra bed in the 2nd bedroom as well as the sofa beds in the lounge

Please advise flight info and or expected arrival time to the property where possible. If you cannot do this at time of booking you should call us at least 30 minutes before arrival to the house as we need to arrange for someone to come and meet you and let you in on arrival.

Cancellations must be made 72 hours prior to your arrival date. Late cancellations and no shows will result in the first night's stay charged to your card

Directions to Kontoyiannis House
From Larnaca Airport:�It is not very difficult to get to the house from Larnaca Airport. All you need to do is follow the signs for Limassol (it takes about 30-45 minutes to reach Kalavassos).As soon as you come out of the airport there is a small roundabout - you follow the signs for Limassol do not go into LARNACA. You will then get to another large roundabout - again keep on the road towards Limassol you will now be on the main motorway. Drive towards Limassol until you see the slip road for Kalavassos (Junction 15).

Its very easy to get to Kalavassos, just be careful when you are coming from Larnaca once you turn off the motorway, you will reach a crossroads turn left pass the petrol station then turn left under the bridge. You just have to be careful you do not miss the sign to Kalavassos on your right or you will end up on the motorway again.After you pass bridge 1, you can go either through the village to get to the house or take the road that says to �Kalavassos dam�. If you take the road to the dam the house is left at bridge 2 on the map

From Paphos Airport:��It takes about an hour to get to Kalavassos from Paphos Airport.On leaving Paphos airport, go straight for 1 1/2 to 2 km till you reach a T-Junction. Follow signs for the Motorway towards Limassol.�
After I km turn left, this will lead you to a small roundabout, follow the signs for Limassol and this will bring you onto the slip road to the motorway.
When you get near Limassol, do not go into town but follow the signs for the Larnaca/ Nicosia motorway.
Go over all the roundabouts which go through Limassol, do not go into town, just keep following the signs for Larnaca/ Nicosia.�
Kalavassos is at Junction 15. The turning into Kalavassos is your first left as soon as you get onto the slip road, you will know you are there because you will see the valley below you!

After you pass bridge 1, you can go either through the village to get to the house or take the road that says to �Kalavassos dam�. If you take the road to the dam the house is left at bridge 2 on the map.
