The peace pension is a small family run pension located in the heart of Yesilada, the Green Island, and is only 100 metres northwest of the Centrum. Just metres to the lakeside in any direction you can enjoy relaxing and comfortable accommodation at an affordable price whilst enjoying a peaceful nights sleep in spotlessly clean, very large double, triple or quad room - with or without a balcony. All rooms have private ensuite bathrooms and air conditioning.
Other facilities include: fresh linen, 24 hour solar and electric hot water, laundry service, free fishing/diving or row boat use. Plenty of car parking available or for those that wish to cycle we have bikes available to hire. We offer early check-in for those travelling overnight from Cappodocia.
As a free service to our guests Huseyin invites you to join him on the lake for a sunrise fishing trip. You can help pull in the catch or sit back with your camera and take photos of the breathtaking view as the sun rises over the mountain.
In the evening you can enjoy a traditional home-cooked turkish meal prepared by Esma. Esma\'s cooking has famously featured in Turkish television.
Huseyin and Esma enjoy meeting backpackers from all around the world and are happy to share their local knowledge and stories of Egirdir and its surrounding attractions.
Breakfast is a available for a small additional charge.

Directions
The Peace Pension is situated on Yesilada Island which is connected to the mainland by a man-made causeway. We offer free pick-up from the Centrum however if you wanted to walk to the pension it's just 10 minutes across the causeway (which is flat). A Dolmus service operates at regular intervals between the island and the centrum and costs just 250 TL.
Egirdir is on the popular tourist route so buses depart regularly for destinations such as Ankara, Antalya, Goreme, Konya, Izmir, Istanbul, Pamukkale and Selcuk.
Egirdir is the perfect destination to break a long bus journey between the Coast and Cappodocia.
